I'm knackered today, we got home after 10pm last night, and DD hadn't had an extra sleep at all, so straight in bed for her then me too, but hse kept crying several times in the night, and when I went in she was still sound asleep, but crying, so she was asleep and I was awake! Shattered

Definitely bigger in the midriff and boobs... couldn't get 2 of my work shirts on the morning... DH has bought me 3 gorgeous maternity dresses for xmas and birthday and I can't wait to get to wear them! Not the weather for that yet though! I'll have to go through my old maternity clothes and see if there is anything I can use. Might have to pick up some warmer tops though!

Welcome new August Mummies!

Had a lovely weekend with DD.

Sunday I went to do my laundry and NO WATER It was froze! So I waited for DH to get home from ice fishing around noon and he had to cut the sheet rock away from the pipes and put the torch to them and they broke loose so I could get my laundry done. Pretty quiet other than that.

It was frigid this whole last week in GA. CSunshine - I know this doesn't even compare to South Dakota temps but us southerners are not used to these cold temps. It has not risen above 30 for almost a week now. BRRRR.

We've had many fires in the fire place and lots of cuddling on the couch under the blanket!!

khegidio it was warm enough yesterday to start to melt the snow on the major roads so the warmth should be coming your way soon! I know in the south everything comes to a halt when you get weather like that. Hope your all staying warm!

Hi ladies! Well got back from my first appointment with the midwife and all i can say is holy paperwork! She did the usual - pee in a cup, blood pressure, lots of talking and questions. I'm being sent next tuesday for bloods and an ultrasound!
I opted for the nuchal scan so they wanted to get me in ASAP. I had a two week window to go in and the lady who booked it put me in the for the first available date! Can't wait to see my bean!
Midwife (who was as student this time) was really nice. I ended up having to do a pap test but at least that is over with! Hopefully I don't spot as a result!

I am feeling huge though - can't fit in my trousers very comfortably anymore and had to get a new bra. Got on the scales this morning and no weight gain so don't know why things aren't fitting????

Ok so I totally know now when my ms or should we say pregnancy sickness hits, it's right before I usually eat! I got really ill this morning right before lunch and now feel the same way! ARGH ok so I'll take what ever I get as it is such a reassurance after my last three pregnancies.

I'm due aug 3 to! Yay for 11 weeks tomorrow!
My boobs don't fit in my bra either! I get half a nipple poking out now! haha. I think I will buy some next week. Don't have a huge issue with pants my fitted ones are to tight to be left done up for long or if I sit but I have a couple of pairs of jeans from when I was 10 lbs heavier so they fit nicely now. Still a bit loose. My weight is the same as it was when I found out I was pg to.

I'm having the same issue i had rather big breasts to begin with and had to order the ones i have online lol so i'm just pretty much wearing sports bras but omg do my nipples hurt! lol i know over share but sweet we are due same time thats exciting we should keep in touch and let each other know how we are doing! lol and anyone else would like to chat with more girls on here haven't gotten the chance to much!

Thanks for messages guys, glad to hear i'm not the only one with a massive tum, considering there's only a blueberry in there i just feel fat!!! happy to be so though..........sometimes!!

finally have my appointment with the specialist on friday, they had to move my midwife app earlier as have to see her first so can ask her all my questions and then ask specialist to. any advice as to what to ask consultant from ladies who have been through pg before?

my best friend is going to organise her wedding for just after baby is born and i won't be able to go as will be abroad. i'm so disappointed wish she had organised for sooner so i could make it

morning all, cold and tired here. the snow has melted in belfast, but now that the rain is in, I think it's even colder as it's damp air instead - didn't help that I was on the train to work this morning though - an earlier start and a longer walk!
I'm not to bad symptoms wise, I've relaxed so much more since scan last week - can't believe I'm 11 and a bit weeks already! I've gained so much weight - clothes don't fit, and I know it's not really baby yet, just Christmas pigging out, feeling quite cross with myself about the whole thing
Anyway, if I can slow down the weight gain a little I guess that'll be a good thing but at the moment I'm just enjoying eating too much!!

Hiya all, hope everyone is doing well!! I cant believe Im 11 weeks.. time has flown by. I have my first scan next week.. really excited and nervous at the same time.

My nausea and MS really set in two weeks ago and Ive ben pretty miserable with it.. but hopefully that will be easing off soon. Even with that I feel like I am just getting bigger and bigger, forget even trying my jeans. Im just hoping to pop soon and get in my maternity!! Thought my boobs havent exploded yet. They are sore and have gotten much firmer...

i set so much store by dates with DD and she was 2 weeks late which were 2 hellish weeks of my life, so this time I'm far less hung up on it!! so according to 'dates' i'm aug 1st, but given previous history, I'm just working towards the first couple of weeks of the month!!
