baby #2 due early March, who is with me!!!

Hey lovely ladies

My dh and I just found out we are expecting our second baby, due march 8th. We have a daughter who turned 2 two weeks ago. We are very excited and hoping to have a great pregnancy.

Hoping to find a pregnancy buddy or two on here. I still chat with the girls I talked to my first pregnancy on a thread I started just like this one.

Congrats on #2!!! DH and I found out last week we are also due with baby #2 on March 8th. Our daughter turned 1 two weeks ago...small world! I just stalked the threads my last pregnancy and this is the first time I've been brave enough to post.

Congrats, my husband and I just found out we are pregnant with number 2 today. I'm not certain of my due date yet, but I should be around the same time as well with my second. My daughter is 16 months.

There are a ton of March expectant mothers over at the March-Mallows group! I'm expecting #1 DD on March 7th!!! With this being my first I am sooooo thankful to have this group of ladies who have been here before more for support!!

Thats great about the march group, I prefer a smaller group of women where we can get to know each other maybe a bit better.

How exciting everyone. What time of year did you have your other children. All of my maternity clothes are summer clothes and now ill need winter stuff instead. Looks like ill need a new winter coat!

I just found out today that we are expecting number two in March. We have a little girl who is 2 and a half.

I am still cannot believe that the little blue stick had two lines as so many times i have squinted and rechecked those tests in previous months only to see nothing.

Hi KGriffin, I'm sure I remember you from the boards last time around. My DD turned 2 four weeks ago so we must have been due around the same time. I'm almost 8 weeks pregnant with #2 at the min and due mid-Feb so it looks like our age gaps are going to be pretty much identical!

How do you feel this time around? I don't feel anywhere near as ill this time x

I found out just over a week ago that we are due with #2 on March 1st!
I'm hoping I have it a few weeks earlier though (or even just a few days earlier!), so it has a February birthday. My LO will be 5 in March (we only wanted a 4 year age gap, but it wasn't to be), and I didn't want their birthdays so close together.

Hey gypsy! ! How are you, congrats on this pregnancy! Im more sick this time, I had hardly any symptoms last time, so this is pretty new for me. Maybe you'll have a Valentine's baby any scans booked anyone?

My doctor doesn't do scans until 17 or 18 weeks and the first check up isn't until 11 weeks unless there are underlying issues. Does anyone else think that's strange? I'm not exactly the best at being patient so I'm praying the next 7 weeks fly by so I can at least hear the heartbeat. Until then it's hard not to worry.

I did have high BP and low semitic fluid with my first pregnancy so maybe that is enough to warrant an earlier scan?

17 or 18 weeks does seem a bit late to start scans, as I figure you would have an early one between 8 and 12 weeks to confirm healthy growth and provide measurements for future reference. Surprised you are not being more closely monitored given your history. Different offices have different policies.

I couldn't agree more. They generally only do one scan per pregnancy unless the are issues to justify additional ones. At the moment I'm waiting on a call back to schedule my first appointment and just hoping the issues with my previous pregnancy will help get me in sooner this time around.

Where are you from karalou? I have a new obgyn this time aroubd but I miscarried before o had my daughter so before I got pregnant this time, he said he would do an early scan. They do all sorts of testing here between 12and 13 weeks. So they always scan between those times. It would be so hard to wait that long. Its hard to make the time pass eh? Who, if anyone, have you all told you are pregnant?
