Baby Bugs Due February 2013

12 weeks is one of my faves ages though its a step closer to teething :( lol

BEc is she crying or fussing? If she is fussing don't feel bad about leaving her to get a cuppa. I dont pick jade up every time she winges and 9/10 she will settle herself.

XX

12weeks is just normally when they start to resolve their wind issues so generally more settled x

She's crying MF. She gets herself in such a state, it's as though she's scared I'm away from her, which I know can't be true.

12 weeks sounds lush then, although like you MF, teething is something I'm dreading.

A sling would be awesomme for you then hun xxx mine was 17.99 on ebay and works a treat xx

Don't dread teething it's not that bad really hun x

Embo, hope Connor is better today? They say day 4 is the worst? My Demi had it at 4 weeks and was also in hospital.

Thanks hun it's getting worse to be honest :( He's still feeding really well and they said thats when its time to worry? I don't really know who bad I'm supposed to let it get without getting help from the hospital?

Thanks :) my birthday creapt up so fast as was preoccupied with babys!

JAdes on cow and gate green! I tried 6 shops! Tesco said people were getting it as soon as it came in! I had to order on amazon for 30 and my mum got the same! Fingers crossed it arrives today. It said 1pm!
Happy 4mths blake :)

JAde slept 7:45-4.50 then back till 7.30 but she went bk to sleep with dummy till 8. Xx

:happydance: happy birthday!! Hope your milk comes in time babe :hugs:

Ohh girls, we had a horrible night with Harry last night. He would not settle at all - so we gave him a dummy and it sort of worked. He wanted to always be in someone's arms, sucking on something. And my nipples are really not up for that (plus, it's all very well to send a baby to sleep breastfeeding, but you still have to wind them!). :nope:

It was a bit of a controversial decision really, but DH and I both looked it up and some websites recommend a dummy to send young babies to sleep.

Happy birthday Em. :flower:

:hugs: I always swore I wouldn't give a dummy to my children but like you I did with my 1st, she just wanted to suckle and my nipples actually bled they were so bad. She would breastfeed and then be sick and her sick was actually red :nope: I stopped after that

She's still a little fussy today :(, although I believe she's exhausted from crying. She won't let me put her down, so I'm kind of stressed, at myself, not her. Also feeling super guilty as I'm craving cigarettes pretty bad . I'm just crap.

Hope you're all okay.

:hugs: Big hugs hun I know how hard it is x

Are you ladies getting out to groups at all? My eldest was a difficult, crying, clingy baby and I used to find even if she was screaming at a baby group at least I was socialising and getting out the house.

With Ivy I used to go for a walk every day to get at least one good nap, it also felt like time to myself.

It is hard going from no children to having a baby. Me and DH were saying the other day that with Elodie it is like nothing has changed because since having Ivy we have had no real time to ourselves, so we are used to it this time!

I went to loads of groups with my 1st but found it very hard with 2 close in age but this time I intend on going once Connors older and the kids are back in school :)

morning ladies hope all are ok taking lena to the doc again this morn has been fussing with her bottles again kicking away and arching her back, crying in her sleep, coughing, gulping and just being fussy oh and shes 10 weeks today:cloud9:

oh and happy birthday em xx

happy 10 weeks Lena, she sounds like shes taking in a lot of air and is struggling with her wind hun, have you had a go at the baby massages? x

Teething isn't too bad, amber necklaces work very well. Infact Connor already has a amber anklet on for him for his colic. x

Hope he is ok em :( math had croup which sounded horrific!

ITs a nice age when they can grasp toys etc keeps them occupied. Math and ruby were much happier when they could sit up x

I always say the time when they can sit and before they can crawl is the best time as you know where they are

I'm...cracking...up . I can't comfort her, I'm a terrible mum!

That's exactly what was happening to me, em. He's puked a few times with streaks of blood, not to mention the agony of it.

I'm hoping it'll just be a phase and he'll get back to self-soothing.

Bec, try a bath? Also, Harry loves to be carried around on Mummy or Daddy's shoulder (like winding position) to settle - but you have to be standing and moving around! Try that?

Bec your not terrible hun. If you have fed, changed her etc what about a swaddle? Dummy? Massage? Music? Darkened room? Car ride?

Lol hope he stays for a bit. With ruby I used to warm a bean bag with a heat pad and cover bit of bean bag with my top then put her down. X

I put him down with my pyjama top about half an hour ago, but he started screaming again. Boo! I guess I can't fake it!

Jack is the same, fast asleep in my arms and then screams blue murder when i put him down haha! Love love love the warm bean bag idea!

Becca, i bet she has trapped wind, as Mrsswaffer says, hold her on your shoulder, always tends to ease the pain when Jack is the same xx

well no reflux whats good but she has colic AND hes confirmed shes teething , have to take her back next week if she carrys on with the fussing during feeds and is 10,2 n half oz

Harry blows bubbles and dribbles sometimes, though it never pours out of his mouth. He's 8 weeks tomorrow - surely he's not teething?
