my sil planned my one with my first and it didnt live up to my expectations, and when i offered to do hers she said she was already doing it (mind you she was only 6 weeks at the time 
) so im planning my own, at the moment i dont have a theme as i find out the sex on saturday but im planning butterflies for a girl(pastel pink and pastel green) and trains for a boy (pastel blue and pastel green). i have a food list organised and games but a few things im doing for it is a 3d ultrasound at 28 weeks which im going to play at the ultrasound, a belly cast and take a few home belly shots which look professional as i am not exactly a millionaire invite wise its only close friends and family 
I couldnt see my mumm doing it, even if she is excited she hasnt really got the time. I'm in the UK and I really didnt like the thought of a baby shower as I also see it as expecting presents but as seen as I know people are going to buy presents (they have asked me what I want) I will just have a little get together as a thanks and buy some favours & wine they can drink here if they like & put some nibbles out.
