Baking Soda Theory

Ok… so I’m in my 2nd trimester Monday. Yay me! I go Monday for an NT scan, so I’m hoping they’ll tell me what the sex is but until then… I just did the baking soda test using fmu. I think I used a bit much baking soda lol but there was still no fizz… fingers crossed it’s really a girl lol ( I hope I can upload a video. I’ll try) ok video won’t work but I’ll put up pics

It was right with my 3 year old son but wrong with my youngest. I got a girl result with my youngest 5 times and he’s all boy. But it’s still fun to do.

It was right for me but the baking soda to urine ratio looks off. The type of baking soda matters lol. I also can’t remember when it’s supposed to be “accurate”, but I did it really early in my pregnancy. I’m sure you know because I think your NT happened by they won’t tell the sex because it’s not totally clear at that age. I did ask my tech to specifically show me the nub and she explained nub theory and that I had a boy nub. But her words were “you never know you could have a boy or a girl with a large clitoris” i booked a private gender scan a few weeks later and def boy. Usually you find out at your anatomy scan around 20w. Definitely update if it was right!
