we just had the biggest windstorm blow thru here - had to close all the windows and everything is now covered in a fine layer of gritty dust/sand!!

made a big pot of soup :D slow cooking it for a few hours, will hve some for tea tonight, then freeze the rest for after nudger

oooh and a whole load of goodies came from asda :D
 
baby towels - one tigger, one white,
2 sleep suits in 0-3
7 vests 3-6
3 sleepsuits 3-6

and new shoeS for ME!!!!!!!!!!! been soo excited about these! there nothing special just a pair of ankle boots with a tichy heel - but i cant wait for it to get cold enough / wet enough to warrant them
 
we dont have that problem over here at moment! I was 3 degrees at 745am this morning!!
 
i cant wait for it too cool off - 30c in my living room with fans going - in aug it was 40c+

What soup did you make?

Nat - Poor Bels x Finley wont let me check his gums but when we were in asda today (he was sitting in the trolley) and DH made him laugh & I got a good look at his tooth poking right through so the 20th October has been put in his baby book against - My first tooth :happydance:
Oh & his amber teething necklace was sent out today so should be here tomorrow :yipee:
 
i made a broth - turkey, potato, parsnip, carrots, leek, onion and then pulses (barley etc)

and the shoes are just a lil pair of boots :D

why does it always take midwives forever to ring back?? rang them at 10am to say i wasnt feeling great and was looking for re-assurance - 11:40 still waiting . . . .

i rang mw again at 12, (my time) and she said pop up - so ive been up and she had a listen with doppler - mines broken :cry: all ok :) she felt a few small movements that i didnt, - thinks with my cold my bodys too busy to be paying attention to nudger. told me take a book to bed and take a paracetamol

Missy glad she heard the baby. Nudger will be fine. Only a few more days now. Don't forget there isn't much room anymore
