Bedtime feed fussiness

The last feed before bedtime usually takes 1-2 hours before lo has has enough to sleep. He is 7 weeks old! Does this seem normal?

I have to feed from both sides as he cries and fusses a lot after a while on one side. He will sleep for about 3 hours after this then it's back to 2-2.5 hourly feeds.

It sounds like your baby is cluster feeding which is totally normal in BF babies. My son still has evenings where he feeds for 2 hours on and off before settling down for the night.

I was told to think of it as your baby putting their order in for the following day.
