Best adult board games?

i want to buy a board game for xmas/boxing day to play with my family, can anyone recommend any?? x

Settlers of Catan!! Its alot of fun, fairly easy to understand (4 of us were new to playing and picked it up as we went) and you get really competitive and you can work together too, its fab

Theres many extensions for it too, to add more players, a bigger board etc. Definitely worth a look xx

Articulate! We play this at my Nana's every year. It's a word describing game. You spin the wheel thing and get a category and then have one minute to describe words from that genre on each card you pick up. It's such a laugh!

Hahaha! I didn't think of that actually The only sexy type game I've got is some dare cards that me and my friend use on nights out (hilarious!!) and some dare dice. Will definitely need to look into some of these games they look rather fun x

Me and my friends have "old people night" Where we stay in, eat in, and play a game lol. Our fav game is apples to apples...hard to explain...you should look it up though.

We always enjoy Scene It. Theres a load of different ones out there (film, music, disney, harry potter, friends etc) so you should find one you all like. The Works have some in for £10 usually. Other games we enjoy are monopoly, cluedo, trivial pursuit xx
