Best time for last nap of the day?

Just wondering if people could share their baby's last nap times with me and how long they are for? My LO is 3 months old and I struggle to get regular nap times during the afternoon. I often end up taking him out in the sling late afternoon to force him to nap because he's so grumpy and he'll usually sleep for 2 hours, though he has been known to sleep for 3 1/2 hours! But I never know how close to bedtime his last nap of the day should be so that it doesn't affect him going to sleep for the night - either by him being overtired or not sleepy enough. What do you guys do?

my lo has never been a good napper but shes 6 months, she naps her last nap of day at about 3pm for 30 mins

at 3 months last nap was 4pm 15mins ...she never naps for long now shes 6months and naps 20mins at 2:30

Alex mostly wakes from his nap an hour and a half before his bedtime and that never stopped him going to sleep for the night
