Beta HCG question

Hi all. I just got my 13 dpo beta HCG results; they are 130. Is that too low?
I got my blood work done for reassurance but now I am just more nervous. Please share your experiences with beta HCG levels.

I think it depends on when implantation occurred. Best to check in 48 hours to see if numbers are doubling. It’s the only way to know for sure that things are progressing.

We don't do betas in the UK but from what I've seen 130 at 13dpo is above average. There's a huge range of normal as long as it doubles you're good.

I agree with happyface . Also your beta number is perfect for 4 weeks along. I'm sure it will rise nicely by next draw.

Aa I said on your journal, I think 130 is a great number for 13dpo.

According to betabase, the median HCG for singletons at 13dpo is 87, so yours is well above average. A second test later this week will help calculate your doubling time and that will give you a better idea of how things are going.

I've had a negative blood test at 14dpo and been pregnant (he's my first teenager actually) and if I'd ever been over 100 at 13dpo, I'd have been thrilled. I've usually only been getting faint lines/squinters at 13dpo with betas in the 30-50 range at 14 dpo so being over 100 is amazing.

No that is not low. I would ask for another and see what your doubling time is that is what would show how your pregnancy is.

With my last son it was 54 at 12 dpo and 148 at 14 dpo. It almost tripled.

Def agree that a single beta alone doesn’t give a lot of info. It’s really about it doubling every 2-3 days.
