Fingers crossed she's well enough for her play

Holly has decided she's well enough to go in, so DH is taking her in now for half a day.

We are trying to track down our missing tickets for the Christmas play tomorrow. The school said that they would put them to one side for us. Then they have phoned me and said that they've given them to grandad on Friday morning. I think they will mean DH's uncle as he took James in on Friday morning. But he's not mentioned it so I'm waiting for him to reply to me.

Holly has been doing her Christmas cards for her school friends this evening

It's Holly and James' Christmas play this morning but I've got to miss it as James still isn't well. I'm not fully better either so I'll stay at home and look after him. DH and MIL are going to watch Holly and take photos for me.

Aw I'm sorry you have to miss it. I'm glad she'll have someone there watching though

DH said she did really well in the play and enjoyed it

James' nursery teacher said that there were only 9 of his class in the school play today as everyone else was off sick. There certainly is a lot going round at the moment.

This afternoon I bought some more Christmas cards as Holly still needs to write some for her school friends and I need to write some for family.

Finally did some wrapping! DH looked after James.
I thought I would never make a start!

There is such a lot of illness going around right now.
Ds4 hasn't brought any cards home nor has he wanted to do any more. I hope that they aren't waiting until it's full to do it or he might not have time to reply to any he gets

Holly hasn't brought any cards home yet either. I think they all arrived at once last year! The teacher gave out lists of names of everyone in the class yesterday.

We usually get them handed out at least once a week once. He's still only done 3 and I don't want people thinking we didn't bother, or him wanting to do them once the post box has been removed
