Bfn on boots own brand test anyone any advice?

My period is a week late and I have had tons of symptoms - feeling sick headaches, metallic mouth, super tired - only thing I haven't noticed is boobs hurting. I have done two tests with the boots test and both say not pregnant!
I was on holiday last week and had reflexology and out of the blue she said "could you be pregnant" I wasn't trying but we were using the pull out method and had sex the day I ov which was 30th August. I would be very happy to get a bfp so frustrating not knowing!

Any advice ladies??? X

I am far from been an expert but did not want to read and run. If I was you I would wait a day or two and try a different brand, everyone on here swears by frer. It could be that your hormone levels are not high enough yet if you ovulated 30/8/13. Good luck!
