I had a 2nd degree tear, I'm not even sure if there is still a visible scar but I can feel one. I will post a pic for academic purposes if anyone is interested though

This thread is great! I had a vaginal delivery and internal tear, OH asked if he should take a pic when she was crowning but i said errrr no! Regret it now tho!

I am actually 10 months postpartum and have never shaved/waxed over mine because I'm (still) scared to... So obviously, it's covered, but otherwise looks quite like yours, a bit shorter now as the ends have faded but it's still pink and raised toward the middle. The thought of shaving there makes me so nervous, but I need to; my poor husband, LOL... Does it hurt? Did you ever knick yourself? Is shaving or waxing less scary?? I'm so nervous! (And omg you're so brave posting this pic. Thank you!)

Here is a picture of my 3rd (of 4 c-sections). This was taken in the hospital right after the dressing was taken off. Staples were miserable! On my 4th c/s I talked him into stitches that dissolved on their own...much easier.

My scar now that its healed SUCKS!! Its red and thick..I guess its called a "keliod" scar. I'll take a recent pic tomorrow...BOOOOO

I was devestated by the butchers job that my doctor did on me. The whole procedure was rushed and I spent the two days in hospital trying to convince them that my insides were going to fall out. Within 10 minutes of my MW removing my staples at home the whole thing burst open. I had to spend EIGHT weeks being visited by a nurse daily and having seaweed shoved in my open wound. It was awful and painful and I couldn't bath.

I am so undecided about what to do this time around and I have a horrible feeling that they are going to recommend an elective csection this time around.

Wow you poor thing, were they on alcoholic beverages?!

I had 4th degree tear and had to be cut- my entire rectum was split including everything else , 150 stitches and the epi scar looks horrific IMO 13 weeks on... I got a pic but its very graphic!!! you see everything!

If i were you i'd tell your OH to get used to it and you'll sort it out when you're ready!
I was brazillianed every 4 weeks before i had LO, i think i waited til about 25 weeks post section before i was ready again. And i've been using the same girl for so long i asked her to have a look first to make sure it would be ok to wax and it was, it was no trouble at all

I shaved over mine as soon as the stitches and glue came off. I can't stand pubic hair.

I would love to post a pic but don't wan to scare you all, it's 50x worse then anything already been posted. I had an epsitomoy with first, 2weeks pp every stitch came undone an I had a huge infection, was on iv antibiotics, I was bed ridden for 4montjs and had tolie with my legs apart and a hair dryer "drying it out" to heal, as hospital wouldnt restitxh because of major infection. It was green and awful!! You could see my cervix from just opening my legs it was that deep!
Healed about a year after but didn't heal "together" was just new skin grew between the hole, I could hardly walk because it ached and couldn't sit down or anything
2nd baby they wouldnt give me a c-section, I had my 9lb6oz baby and a 3rd degree tear in the same place where skin had regrown.
I (stupidly) refused stitching because o was scared and because she said she wouldn't be able to stitch it properly.
15 months after my 2nd born I had a refashioning operation where they cut the whole scar tissue and muscle away, and I now have a designer vagina! But.. 4 stitches came undone and although it looks 80%x better still have major scars was in theatre for an hr n half having it all cut away

i cant even begin to imagine ! you poor thing how on earth did you manage to have sex to fall pregnant a second time is beyond me lol !

Grin and bare! I couldn't even feel anything during sex, and it hurt!! Still does now on the scar but not bad, I used to have to kind of push my bits together during sex ecause it felt so big down there lol! And I use to trump down there because of air getting in lol! I was only 17 as well and I remember seeing my stitches undone for first time, I thought I had thrush lol I screamed for my mum and was crying that if never be normal again lol!! The op has changed everything! I still ache sometimes nd can't walk too far cuss muscles ache lol

I remebrr with an ex whn I was younger we I'd doggy style but not sex just abit of foreplay lol an I trumped in his face!!!!!
