Started my blood pressure monitoring last night- have to do it twice every day for 4 weeks. I'm already wound up about it. Last night it was 130/83 so went to bed happy.

This morning it was 144/99.

I can see myself getting really worked up and stressed over it. I hope I can keep it calm otherwise I'm going to have to stop the monitoring and probably spend some time in hospital.

Wish me luck!! I'm so worried :sad2:

    Hey hun

I know how you feel- I was exactly the same. Im terrified of being re-admitted to hospice again for high BP.

It does stress you out as much as you dont want to think about it, you just do. I mean you'l get good days and bad days. I always tell my docs if ive had a bad day, lack of sleep just b4 they check my BP- it all adds to rate of BP.

If im feeling a lil stressed with bubs, I usually take 15mins in a dim room on my own and sit on the rocking chair and relax.

Relaxing is almost impossible with bubs around but try and let your other half take bubs for a bit n have time to yourself.
