Blood test showed 4-5 weeks

Hi guys! I've never had a hcg count test done so I'm not exactly sure how they work. But I had to go to the hospital for a reason other than the pregnancy and they told me my blood shows 4-5 weeks. But according to the first day of my last period i should be 7 weeks 2 days. Is there about two weeks that i should add in to the blood test or something? Or could this be a sign of a pregnancy that isn't viable? Thanks in advance ❤

You probably just ovulated later than cd 14. Are your cycles longer than 28 days or irregular?

Did they give you the actual number or just the 4-5 weeks estimate? Because the range is giant haha. You can have an hcg of 5-7,430 in weeks 4+5. The low threshold for week 7 is 7,650. So the weeks indicator doesn’t really mean much, the number is more important.

Also as the PP said, if you ovulated later that would account for some of it. Apps always put me about 8 days ahead of where I’d actually be because I ovulate late and have long cycles.
