BLW - what did your LO eat today?

Wow, Thomas and Gabriella are good little eaters!

snack - more strawberries, about 1/2 an apple lol, and a large rice cake with dairylea (hungry after session in the play cafe!)

dinner, almost a WHOLE broccoli, pasta, peas & chicken with 3 cheese sauce, more strawberries, and blueberries

Quite a good day today. I dropped a bottle (from 4 to 3) and was very nervous all day that he wasn't getting what he needed. But, he did eat lunch and dinner which makes a change so maybe this was a good thing!

B: Ready Brek (didn't take)
L: Pancakes with dairylea, banana and yoghurt
D: Turkey sliders, homemade oven chips, aspargus. (turkey sliders from the annabel karmel website. Highly recommended, everyone loved them - LO & doggy were going gaga - even had to pull the dog's head out of the bin after lol)

B: Readybrek (not really too interested today), full banana, some tinned apricots
L: Scrambled egg on toast, blueberries
S: Two mini rice cakes and some raisins
D: Loads of pasta with a creamy spinach sauce, half a satsuma

Adam has had:

b: mini shredded wheats, a nectarine, 1/4 of a banana
l: half a slice of fruit loaf with creme fraiche, most of a satsuma, quite a lot of melon, natural yogurt
s: a raspberry humzinger
d: fish & vegetable pie, green beans, tomato, a strawberry Plum fromage frais

B: a huge bowl of Shreddies and half a slice of toast with fruit spread (not sure where he puts it!)

L: refused at 12but I took it with us and he ate it in his buggy about 1:15... 2 slices of milk roll with cashew butter, 2 red pepper strips, 2 tomato wedges, about an inch cube of cheese cut into 4, 2 humzingers (they were my emergency supply but he was still hungry so I had to go and buy some raisins too!)

S: half a kiwi, a spoonful of dry rice krispies

D: onion & mushroom risotto, some roast chicken (actually ate some and bit some off the leg I gave him to play with! :happydance:), greek yoghurt, mandarin segments

Gabriella has had nothing AT ALL today as she's a poorly boo :nope:

She had a BF at 7am and Ive only managed to get just less than 1 cup of water down her (about 5 oz)

I hope she perks up tomorrow - The whole blueberries that came up last night were NOT nice

Poor Gabriella, I really hope she feels better tomorrow.

Quick Q: When your LOs are eating mini-shredded wheat, are they actually eating the entire thing, or throwing most of them away?

I think I've managed to get LO to suck about 3 in total but he doesn't really eat any of them. I'm just wondering if he should be eating the whole thing?

Adam usually eats the whole thing, though he goes through phases of sucking and nibbling and throwing over the side. He often drops little bits and isn't interested in them after. If they are not soggy/soft enough I have noticed he is more fussy.

Cheers! I'll try him again tomorrow - with milk maybe instead of yoghurt :)

Thomas generally eats pretty much the whole thing too (bar a few little bits), he's always a hungry bunny at breakfast, LOL. He only really likes them quite soggy too so I don't think he'd fancy them with yoghurt.

yesterday she had (11 months btw)

7am Milk 7 oz

8.30 am Breakfast - fruity cereal with fruit

12 = Lunch - Spag Bol & fruit pot

2.30 Milk - 7oz

Hi Jenny :flower: Just wondering which bottle you dropped? When the time comes i'm not sure which one Isabella won't have anymore? What's your rough routine regarding bottles and mealtimes if you don't mind me asking?

Thank you x

No probs! We were on 7am, 11am, 3pm and 7pm with lunch at 12pm and dinner at 5-6pm.

I dropped his 11am bottle and moved the afternoon one from 3pm to 2pm. He seems to be hungrier for his lunch now and hopefully dinner too!

I was on edge all yesterday and this morning but he has coped really well with the change. I am offering water though as well now as its quite warm :)

HTH!

Thanks hun :hugs: She is a little bit perkier, although has only had a BF at 7am again, and I have just managed to get about 5oz of formula down her, about 1hour ago. No solids yet though, :nope: although she was staring at my tuna butty!!

I think I might try her with some toast at tea time and see how she goes on xx

When Rowan's been feeling poorly and not eating, I find mashed banana and custard, with the custard made with EBM, is the best thing.

Does anybody else's baby like curry? It was my birthday a couple of weeks ago, and Rowan joined me in fish korai and garlic rice with enthusiasm, though the pakoras were too spicy and made her cry!

Ruby LOVES curry, it's her favourite, she eats a huge portion my chicken curry, rice and homemade garlic naan when it's for dinner!

Thomas isn't really that pushed on curry although he does eat it. He will get to like it I'm sure because we eat spicy food a lot.

He wasn't really too interested in food today which is unusual for him, he only ate fruit really, I think it might be teething, he has one tooth just broken through and I'm pretty sure there is a second on the way.

B: Mini shredded wheat, banana, tinned apricots (didn't eat apricots)
L: Baked beans on toast (didn't eat much), melon, blueberries
D: Lamb, potato, and red onion stew (didn't really eat any), tinned apricots (ate them this time), peach
