That sounds like a very tasty dinner, yummy!!

My son is turning into a bottomless pit!

B (8:30am) large bowl of shreddies (about 3 handfuls!) half a slice of toast

L (1:30pm) 2 serving spoons of risotto (yummy leftovers from last night), half a punnet of raspberries, frozen fromage frais tube

S (3pm) we were out, he had a late lunch and he doesn't usually snack much but he kept grabbing more -I was completely under prepared! he depleted all my handbag supplies & started on my friends! He had - 2 mini boxes of raisins, 2 humzingers, organix oaty bar, 3 apple baby rice cakes - then we had to head home coz he was still seeming hungry!

D (5pm) half a slice of toast with low salt/sugar beans & grated cheese, half a tin of madarin oranges, slice of banana bread, greek yoghurt, small handful of dry rice krispies & small handful of raisins!

We started BLW 3 and a half weeks ago, I've been reading this thread everyday but Helen hasn't really been eating enough for me to post until now:happydance::happydance Last few days she's really been going for it, I'm so proud of her.

Today we had

B: Toast with unsalted butter and mashed banana, about 1/4 banana and some kiwi fruit
L: Rice cake spread with avocado, muller little stars peach flavour (PL spoon, didn't put it in her ear once:cloud9:)
D: Veggie haggis (can't believe she ate this but she loved it!), boiled potato, orange pepper sticks, refused carrot.

Can't wait for tomorrow:happydance:

Wow!!! Could be a bit of a growth spurt? He sounds like he's loving his food at the moment!

Thomas had:

B: About ten mini weetabix, handful of blueberries, slice of melon

L: Half a rice cake with cream cheese, about a quarter of my toasted ham cheese and tomato sandwich, 2 strawberries, a pear, a banana, a handful of raisins

D: Pasta with salmon and mushrooms in a creamy sauce (ate all of the pasta and left all the salmon and mushrooms), more melon, small bowl of natural yoghurt

Yay, go Helen!! It's so exciting when they start really getting into their food isn't it!!

ETA What on earth does veggie haggis taste like? I can't even imagine!

Gabriella is finally on the mend now - after being sick again on Monday night

She has had:

BF @ 5:45
Lunch @ 12.30 - 2 full weetabix (I normally give on a PL spoon but just put it on her tray and let her get stuck in - she did really well untill it turned into a big gooey mess lol) and about 3/4 a tin of peaches
tea @ 5.30 - Tuna, pasta, peas and mayo - Only ate a few bits of pasta as was wayyy too tired after another nursery visit!!
6.30 - 5oz formula and bed

x

Finally the wee man ate pasta! I am so proud :)

B: Ready Brek
L: Pesto & Fusili with sweetcorn, half a yoghurt
D: Spag bol, babycorn, banana.

I always worry that he isn't eating enough fruit and veg, but hedoesn't like acidic type fruit and is fussy about some veg. Won't eat sweet potato for example. Hmmm back to the thinking board tonight for me :)

Ruby had...

Shreddies and a cup of milk mixed with yoghurt (sounds weird but I'm trying to get her to accept milk from a cup)
A breadstick, a small bit of a spinach and cheese muffin
Whole pouch of Ella's Kitchen Smoothie Fruit
Large portion of chicken curry, little bit of naan, oat biscuit

Oh and she actually REFUSED mandarins at lunch and dinner! Odd...

It's really weird when they refuse "faves" isn't it! G refused yogurt once

I love veggie haggis, it doesn't taste anything like real haggis. It is quite spicy, it's got lentils and kidney beans, maybe bulgar wheat, it's good but I thought it would be too spicy for her.

Did the muffin not go down too well? :dohh:

Haha I don't know, I stupidly gave her a breadstick because she was whinging while we were waiting for them to cook, then she was full! I liked them :)

We are only on one or two tries at food a day but yesterday was the first day she had two meals with us, rather than on her own and ate the same food as us.

Lunch - Mushrooms and Omelet - sucked the hell out of the mushrooms and I know some went down as I found it this morning at the other end lol! Omelet not so liked, but I found it bland too!

Tea - Roast potatoes and parsnips, steamed carrots and a large chunk of lamb burger. All of which was duly sucked and then smeared on her belly and face.

All in all nothing eaten but lots of tastes!

Gabriella has had:

Breakfast - shreddies (quite a lot of them too) a few grapes
Lunch - At nursery for the first time - she had fishcake, cubed potatoes and mushy peas, and almost a full banana
tea - roast lamb, jersey royal potatoes, carrots, mangetout and mini corn on the cob - she barely ate anything at all - was way too tired

Today Thomas has had:

B: Bitesize shredded wheat, pear, natural yoghurt with a bit of fruit spread

L: A tiny bit of fishcake, mashed potato, blueberries, strawberries

D: Couscous with butternut squash, baby corn, green beans, onion, garlic, mint, coriander, and paprika. Lots of melon.

Alyssa ate a lil bit more today so i thought perfect time to post :)

brekkie: tried her with bitesize weetabix but went mushy and couldnt hold it, so opted for a crumpet with unsalted butter

Lunch: Omlette with cheese

Dinner: Salmon with pasta, chopped tomatos and melted cheese and peas. half a banana and 2 carrot organix sticks.

I did find most of the pasta in her bib, but i did see her eat alot more than usual :happydance:

Today:

B: Ready Brek
L: Pasta with tomato sauce (sauce that accidentally turned out amazing as I put leftover mashed sweet potato and a dollop of philadephia into it yum!!)
D: Thai green prawn curry

I try to offer fruit after our meals, but culann just never seems interested. I don't know if I should then be giving him less of a 'main' meal and offer fruit, or just leave it. I'm not a big fruit eater either, although I don't necessarily want it to rub off on him..

ETA: Oh, also had a big slurp of ice cream as he crawled up to my SIL in the park and stuck his head in her cone. He loved it though :)

Jacob didn't eat very much of what he had today but he seemed to nibble on a little bit of everything
B - raisin wheats (he loves these)
S - plum spelt fingers
L - pitta with houmous, tomato and cucumber. Pineapple
D - chicken, paprika wedges with baby corn and asparagus, banana, melon and plum fromage frais

Jenny, I normally give Thomas fruit about half way through his meal rather than at the end. When I finish my meal (Thomas would always still be eating at this stage) I will cut up some fruit for us to share. He usually eats the fruit and then goes back to eating his main course!
