BLW - what did your LO eat today?

Today only had banana, she's had a bad tummy and can't handle too much :(

Holly tried some cucumber this morning and I thought she'd actually eaten a little piece of it, but then it fell out of her mouth onto daddy a bit later!
And she tried a Heinz Biacotti too.

A piece of chicken. She choked a bit, scared the shit out of me! Not gonna try that one again for a while.

Yesterday...

Breakfast: Mini Shredded Wheats soaked in oat milk; tinned apricots
Lunch: Falafels, 'special' potato salad (made with cucumber, parsnip and lots of different herbs); satsuma and fruit jelly
Tea: Sugar free jam sandwich, Organix carrot puffs; pear with soya yogurt

Breakfast: Shreddies soaked in oat milk, tinned apricots
Snack: 1/2 a banana
Lunch: Jacket potato with baked beans; satsuma and a few more tinned apricots
Dinner: Tomato and tuna pasta; soya yogurt, pear and sultanas

Staralfur - my LO was exactly the same today on a tiny piece of crumpet. He was coughing and gasping and turning pale. He then brought up lots of phlemgh with the tiny piece of crumpet. Scared me too and was worried to give him anything else. Def want to stick with BLW, just guessing it takes time?!

Breakfast - porridge with some fruit spread stirred in.
lunch - bit of my chicken sandwich
Dinner - baked salmon, potato wedges, roasted carrots and parsnips. Several segments of Satsuma.

Still no teeth but doing pretty well!

It's going to be hard not to panic every time she does it!

She had some mashed potatoes today. Messy is an understatement.

A better idea is to avoid cutting it small. Give strips of chicken/meat. Then as they learn to gauge what they can take, you can cut smaller

LO tried a cracker and a Heinz biscotti, all just ended up in bits on the floor! :dohh:

Today LO had:
Breakfast: toast fingers and 100% fruit spread with kiwi and balkan style yogurt

Dinner: It's Thanksgiving today!! So he had turkey, with mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, squash, turnip, peas, corn, peppers and zucchini. He's totally loving his pincher grip and takes every opportunity to use it now... he could have picked up peas all night :haha:
