BLW - what did your LO eat today?

Joining the fun!

Breakfast:porridge fingers with raisins, I also gave her whole raisins eventhough I was nervous but she managed really well and loved it!

Lunch: omelette with ham cheese mushroom and tomato (she wasn't impressed with the ham but loved the rest of the omelette), kiwi

Dinner: cherry tomatoes cut in half, pear slices and a carrot rice cake ( I didn't have the "proper" dinner ready on time as she goes to bed early)

snacks: plum spelt biscuits, banana

Scarlett threw up last night so I only offered her a little bit of food today.
No breakfast.
L - scrambled egg and potato stars, little bit of pear
D - veggie sausage, sweet potato and parsnip wedges. Grapes, but she just played with them.

LO tried some bread before. She's still not actually eating anything! :|

Bevzi - my LO isn't either.

Some days he has actually swallowed something and I think we've cracked it, then he goes back to refusing or gagging and making himself sick again.

Really want BLW to work but it is now becoming a little frustrating and with working part time I'm not always with him to do it how we want to.

I know my mum spoon fed him mashed banana, which he ate....

I totally know how you feel! My LO refuses spoons too though so it's kind of difficult!

I've mentioned it to HV and she just tried to push me towards TW...

Hopefully they will both get the hang of it soon :)

Yesterday we had:
B: weetabix and pear slices
L: roast chicken and potato wedges, clementine segments and a rice cake
D: roast chicken and potato wedges, bread with philadelphia (her favourite!) and cherry tomatoes cut in half

Been told we have to try and get LO on three meals a day as she is losing weight  Just wish she would master how to eat the food! So we offered:

Breakfast - cracker
Lunch - cheese spread sandwich
Dinner - whole wheat fusilli pasta

She didn't really eat much but did let me put three small pieces of pasta in her mouth so that's a success :)

Yesterday we had:
B: oat and apple baby cereal (preloaded spoons)
L: cheese and spinach omelette, she absolutely devoured it
D: mushroom risotto (preloaded spoons for the rice) again she loved it

I don't know if my LO is going through a growth spurt and or is just starting to eat more but she has been eating loads since yesterday so for those who are starting BLW hang in there it's so worth it! Only a couple of days ago I was posting about being worried that she wasn't eating anything!

Holly ate nothing today, just wants breastmilk and screams when I've offered her foods.
But this is what I fid offer her:

Breakfast - cheese spread sandwich
Lunch - cracker and melon
Dinner - peas, chips and tomato

Scarlett wasn't overly bothered today. She was tired at every meal.
B - buttermilk pancakes with fruit spread
L - toasted muffin with cream cheese, mango chunks
D - homemade pizza

Our LO ate lots at breakfast today but wasn't too excited about dinner (maybe because I gave him some cheerios and oranges to snack on while we did groceries about an hour before dinner )

B- 1 slice rye bread toast with cream cheese and half a pear
D- oven steak, potatoes, peas, carrots and more orange stolen from me (the little mandarin oranges are finally in stores, they're my favourite and it looks like LO loves them too!)

We'll be starting lunch next week in preparation for me going back to work P/T in december...

B - porridge with raspberries
L - peanut butter and cream cheese sandwich, mango chunks
Snack - raisins
D - tuna pasta, fromage frais and stewed apple.
Scarlett didn't really eat the pasta, just the tuna.

Didn't eat a thing again but this is what I offered:

B - bread and butter
L- boiled potatoes and vegetables
D - bread and cheese

Bev have you tried some yummier foods? Like if you put a bunch of pasta with spaghetti sauce on her tray would she play in it/lick her fingers etc?

Today was:
B- shredded wheat with Balkan yogurt and a clementine and a few of my rice krispies
L- 2 bread sticks with marble cheese cubes
Snack/saw me eating and stole a bite lol- banana and a couple clementine slices
D- homemade chicken noodle soup with veg and homemade biscuits

Yesterday.

B- Weetabix

L - OH had lo as I was working

D - Pesto coated salmon, cheesy potato mash and peas

I'll give that a go with the pasta sauce. She would probably lick the sauce off the pasta and enjoy that :)

Yea, that's true Bev. My LO loves things that are really strongly flavoured. I was really surprised by it but she much prefers things which are flavoured, like garlic, curry type flavours, things with lots of herbs etc in.
