BLW - what did your LO eat today?

Yesterday Ruby had...
Shreddies and raisins
3 crackers with cream cheese, banana smoothie, raisins
Scrambled egg, toast, yoghurt and pear

Today Isabella had:

B- Mini shredded wheat
L- Hard boiled egg smashed on toast (ate practically the whole thing )
D- Pasta with salmon and mayo

It seems she has also dropped her 11.00am feed so had 21oz over 3 bottles

:flower:

P.s Does 21oz seem ok for her age? I know between 18oz-21oz is ok when weaning but sometimes it doesn't seem like she swallows an awful lot of food  Just hope she's getting what she needs! x

Weaning for a couple weeks now.

Today Anna had....

8.30am 6oz
10.30am half-weetabix&blueberries made with 1oz milk
12.30pm 3oz
4pm 5oz
6.30pm 4 icecubes of cheesy brocolli&potato
7.30pm 3oz
10pm....she will have another 4 oz

We have been weaning for a couple weeks now - still a bit unsure of it all. I know that she will take more solids but then she will take even less milk and she is only taking 23oz max a day(today 22oz) so unsure about increasing the amount of solids! Any advice??:flower:

Breakfast- a few spoons of porridge, half of a dry weetabix coated in yoghurt

Lunch- a slice of toast a bit of a banana and a fromage frais

Tea- a cooked 'breakfast' (OH works nights so we very occasionally like to have one together before he goes to work) Toby had one sausage (devoured it all!), one potato cake, a handful of beans (although he wasn't really interested) a little bit of scrambled egg (again not really bothered either way by it) and some fried mushrooms (loved them!)

He only had 2 breastfeeds during the day today whereas he normally has 3 (that's not including his first thing in the morning and last thing before bed and during the night feeds btw- just the proper daytime ones!)

Also he had about 3oz of fruit juice with his tea.

Ruby had...
Shreddies
3 Crackers with fruit spread, banana smoothie, refused pineapple
Pasta with tomato sauce, organix fruit bar

How boring! Must work on better things to offer. :(

Thomas had:

B: Porridge (got pissed off with the spoon so just got stuck in with his hands!), cooked apple, half a banana, 2 cherries, quarter of a slice of toast with fruit spread. I had to keep going to get more food as he finished everything and was looking round for more!

L: Rice cake with tuna and creme fraiche, small bit of pear

D: Pasta twirls with tomato sauce and mushrooms and courgette, natural yoghurt with fruit spread

Breakfast- a few spoons of porridge
Lunch- we were out at my Mum's, he had a crab paste sandwich, 3 or 4 segments of orange, a couple of carrot sticks, half a slice of crusty bread, a bite of a babybel  and sucked on some celery
Tea- cauliflower cheese and a fromage frais

He also had about 3oz of juice again, hardly fed at all at my mum's (it was too distracting) but more than made up for it when we got home (and boy were my lumpy boobs relieved! )

B: Toasted wheaten with dairylea and ready brek (latter refused)
L: Pasta with red pesto, tomato, yoghurt, banana, fruit puree pouch thing
D: Scrambled egg, pancake, rest of puree pouch.

All our meals were random, rushed things as I try to get stuff organised for hols.

Anyone know if those puree things are healthy or not? Or are counted as proper fruit? I only opened it as LO was still looking food after lunch had finished and he gobbled it down off a PL spoon! I actually think the coolness was helping his poor little gums. Since we're going on hols, I actually bought a few more this afternoon as I thought they'd come in handy when we are out and about, although part of me felt kinda odd about it as we've never bought 'baby' food!

Courgette and melon. He definitely preferred melon, though!

Yeah sure they're as healthy as us drinking a smoothie with no added sugar, like Innocent or something.
Ruby loves the Ella's Kitchen Smoothie fruit pouches - I just give her the open pouch and she sucks it straight out herself. She didn't 'get it' until she was about 13 months though...

Ruby wasn't very hungry today.

B - Shreddies and raisins (eaten out of the bowl, without tipping it up! Normally I put the cereal on her mat)
L - little bits of sausage, chicken breast, potato wedges, apple crisps, a strawberry smoothie
D - Fruit spread of toast, plum biscuit, raisins

B: a few bitesize shredded wheat, half a banana

L: Homemade carrot and coriander soup, half of a multiseed ciabatta roll with unsalted butter (refused preloaded spoon so just gave him bread dunked in soup), half an orange

D: roasted turnip wedges, asparagus, tiny bit of chicken (don't know if he actually swallowed any), refused mashed potato, melon

B : strips of omelette, nibble on weetabix, strawberry, sharon fruit
L : roll of ham, cauliflower cheese, swede, grated apple
D : pasta twirls with mashed carrot sauce, parsnip, strip of chicken, banana

L- Cheese on toast with some low salt/sugar beans, some chopped papaya and half plum yoghurt
D- Chicken roast yum!

Thomas had:

B: Mini weetabix, quarter of a tin of peaches

L: Rice cake with cream cheese, lots of broccoli, almost a full orange

D: Egg fried rice with various vegetables (First time he's eaten rice successfully, just shoveled it in with his hands, LOL), frozen banana "icecream" (Yummy - as recommended on another thread here! - he totally LOVED it)

Today Tom had,

B - fruity porridge and bits of 2 strawberries
L - Bottle of milk still
D - Toast with primula and tuna, half a muller little star yoghurt.

So impressed that he ate all the tuna off the toast - it was the first time he'd had it and I wasn't convinced he eat it but no problems.

B - shreddies & cheerios
S - organix oaty bar, raisins, humzinger
L - large ricecake with garlic Philadelphia, mandarin oranges
D - peri-peri roast chicken (drumstick & 2 strips of breast), sweetcorn & peas, few grains of rice. 6 Raspberries, strip of mango, yoghurt (dipped spoon himself really well :) )

Breakfast- we shared a bowl of weetabix
Lunch- a toasted muffin, beans (ignored) and fried mushrooms (fed to the dog- who refused to eat them :haha:)
Snack- Heinz biscotti biscuit
Tea- Sausage and mash and gravy

Loads and loads of milk feeds today and a fair amount of juice with both his main meals.
