I'm loving reading all the meals! It gives me a good idea of what I'm going to do when LO starts weaning! (I'm thinking waaaaaaaaaaay ahead here, lol!) Are there any good books that you ladies recommend or should I just play it by ear?
hello

i have the blw cookbook by gill rapley, which is really good - the first bit explains the principles and theory behind blw, plus what kinds of food to start when, and the rest is recipes. i have made quite a few, and have been really pleased - the main meals all serve 2 adults and 1 baby, and the lunches are for 1 adult and 1 baby, so they are just right. and yummy. i particularly liked the tomato chicken and the pork burgers.

today hayden had:
breakfast - malties, a kiwi
snack - grapes
lunch - hummus, cucumber sticks, organix sweetcorn rings, blackcurrant yogurt
tea - baked beans (low sugar and salt) on toast, a plum.
he finally has some teeth popping through, so is managing to chomp better
