BLW - what did your LO eat today?

Wow, 5 weetabix! I would struggle with 4 I think!

Joeyjo, that is funny, Ruby refused raisins yesterday also! I was stunned!

She had...
Breakfast - small bowl of shreddies, not overly interested
Lunch - Wholemeal roll, some with cheese and marmite, some with honey, dry cheerios, refused raisins, plum fromage frais
Dinner - 2 scrambled eggs, cheese, ham, toast, tinned pears.
 
Today Kyle had:

B: 2 x toast fingers with butter, piece of papaya, small amount of yoghurt
L: fish cake, piece of lentil & cheese wedge, babycorn, aubergine, banana
D: rice cake w/philadelphia, couple of bits of pasta with tomato sauce, piece of papaya
 
B: nada but going to reintroduce it next week
L: leftover moroccan chicken (picked at), loads of raspberries and two yoghurts(!!)
D: bangers and mash (made by daddy and he ate the whole lot - daddy is secretly very smug right now!), strawberries and tiny bit of cream, few blueberries

Ruby had...
B - Shreddies and a few raisins
L - 1 and a half mini wholemeal pittas filled with cheese and mayo, plum fromage frais
(big old lunch for Ruby!)
D - pasta with tomato and leek sauce and grated cheese, smoothie
 
Adam has had:

b: Weetabix with natural yogurt, raspberries
s: Organix ginger biscuit
l: chunk of white baguette spread with unsalted butter, wafer thin chicken, half a banana
d: cottage pie, broccoli, green beans (rejected - he bit each into 4 pieces and spat each piece out), cherry tomatoes, half banana, yogurt, prunes
 
rice cake with hummus then my apple which she stole and screamed when i took back lol i was hungry to
 
Yesterday:
B: Hipp Organic fruity porridge made with EBM
L: Sausages, mash and gravy
Snack: a few Organix Cheese n Herb Puffs (mostly mashed them into the carpet :roll:
T: Offered rice cakes with a variety of toppings, some sliced tomato and sliced pear but he got really upset (sore gums i think :( ) ended up having 2 yoghurts (which he threw up half an hour later- but that's another story!)

Today:
B: nothing really, i offered toast and shreddies but he just played with them
L: nothing offered :blush: (we were out then only got in at 12.20 and were heading out to swimming for 1pm so didn't think it was a good idea to rush something just for the sake of it and then have him be sick in the pool)
Snack: 2 Heinz Organic Gingerbread biscotti biscuit things
T: We had chicken enchilladas, he had a couple of strips of chicken and sucked on a corn tortilla but didn't reckon much to any of it
 
Ruby had

Breakfast - Shreddies and raisins
Lunch - One mini pitta with cheese, a few bits of papaya, but not really hungry
Snack - bits of some no doubt hideously sugary cake OH was eating in Starbucks
Dinner - we had a BBQ, Ruby had about a quarter of a burger, about half a lamb kebab thing, some bread, lots of spicy potato wedges and a yoghurt for afters.
 
Yesterday Jacob had
B - mini weetabix and strawberries (ate loads of weetabix but just threw strawberries on floor)
S - mini rice cake
L - 3 crackers with dairylea, some banana
D - chicken goujon, baked potato, baby corn, peas and half a pear
 
yesterday Adam had (I was at work all day so OH was in charge and he's very particular about recording exact amounts):

b: 1 Weetabix with milk, 1/2 a banana, 7 raspberries
l: half a cheesey roll, a slice of cheese, 7 cherry tomatoes, a humzinger
d: half a big jacket potato, 2 fishfingers, 5 cherry tomatoes, 2 olives, 10 prunes, 2 slices of tinned peach

L: half a slice of cheese on toast (granary bread), cherry toms, frozen fromage frais tube, 3 hula hoops (bad daddy), raisins & dried apple bits
S: a few organix cheese & herb puffs
D: croquettes potatos, chicken with garlic marinade, peas, Greek yoghurt, raspberries & blueberries
 
Adam has had...

b: 1 weetabix with milk, a banana, half a buttered rice cake, couple of tinned peach slices
l: a normal rice cake (buttered) and a small piece of my marmite rice cake, cherry tomatoes, peach slices, 3 Organix (I think) crescent moon biscuits, a slice of wafer thin chicken
s: red grapes, loads of them - 30? 1/2 an Organix ginger biscuit
d: broccoli & cheese quiche, new potatoes, broccoli, green beans, cherry tomatoes, strawberries and natural yogurt
 
Wow Mary Jo, that is a lot of grapes!

Now that LO is loving eating blueberries/strawberries/raspberries, I'm now buying them several times a week. But its soooo expensive! I love that he loves those fruits, but my maternity pay ends this month and things are going to be lean for a few months! I don't know what to do... :)

Anyway, today:

L: Tuna pasta with red pesto, asparagus. Yoghurt and raspberries
D: Spag bol, tomatoes, grapes, fruit pouch thing.

Snack: Bread sticks in hummus (his fave!)

Gabriella had had:

Breakfast - 1 x crumpet and jam, 1 x crumpet and dairylea, 1/2 clementine (little man shared it with her), full banana
Lunch - tiny bit of buttered milk roll, 1/2 fish finger, (not hungry at all)
tea - salami, ham and mushroom pizza, grapes, few raspberries
 
fruit is really expensive. Adam gets a lot of whatever's on special offer, at the moment there's a 3 punnets of various fruit for £5 offer at the Co-op (I got grapes, rasps and strawberries), so that makes it more reasonable. Dried, semi-dried, frozen and tinned fruit are also good - I am quite glad Adam has taken to semi-dried prunes because a big pack lasts ages and is only about the same price as 1 normal priced punnet of strawberries.
 
I'm afraid Ruby mostly just gets tinned fruit or nature's finest pots, and dried. We occasionally buy blueberries and raspberries when they're on offer at Sainsburys.

B - Shreddies
Late lunch that basically lasted all afternoon (we were at a party) - 1 sausage in a big roll, some salmon, 3 breadsticks and a biscuit!

L: sweetcorn, cheese & paprika muffin, a few organix cheese & herb puffs, 2 humzingers (he gets so over excited when he sees this and I have to break them in half as whatever I give him first gets shoved in so quick! My friend was in fits of giggles watching him today!)
S: 2 long breadsticks
D: roast chicken, sweet potato mash, pan-fried leeks, 1 piece of carrot - rejected the rest of the carrot & asparagus, frozen fromage frais, raisins
 
Good day today :)

B: shreddies & mandarin oranges
S: 4 apple baby rice cakes ( he recognised the bag in the supermarket trolley and kept picking it out & waving it at me :dohh: )
L: sweetcorn cheese & paprika muffin, grated carrot, raisins
D: risotto with mustard seed, smoked salmon, asparagus, onion, garlic - not a single grain of rice was left or dropped :thumbup:

l: chicken sandwich, 2 pineapple rings, cherry tomatoes, strawberries
s: 2 Plum spelt breadsticks, an Organix crescent moon biscuit, a satsuma
d: baked salmon with leeks, half a big jacket potato, cherry tomatoes, broccoli, green beans, raspberries, yogurt, bits of tinned pineapple
 
Yay...I can finally join in now :happydance: Except when Chloe is at CM (I am working on this) I am completly BLW thanks to some of you lovely ladies help :flower:

B - Porridge. Slice of toast with butter.

L - A boiled egg (prob only managed 1/2, rest on floor!) A dairylea triangle. 2 Organix rice cakes. Yogurt.

S - Banana

D - I made a Cottage Pie but over cooked it and it was so dry and horrid :dohh: So emergency dinner was -3 sticks of cucumber. 2 sticks of cheese. 1/2 crumpet with Philadelphia. Banana. Half a Ellas Kitchen biscuit.
