Elliott loves them and Tesco have had a good deal on them for a while. They are 100% fruit with nothing nasty and he eats them out of the tube! I'm quite fond of them too

Brunch: Cheese muffins, yohugrt, blueberries & some banana
Snacks: Breadsticks, half a humzinger
Dinner: Leftover beef stew, blueberries, melon slices and 2 milky way lucky stars (first time eating a bit of chocolate and he was pretty nonchalent about the whole thing!)

l: a plain drop scone and a drop scone with blueberries in, more raisins

Thanks! :hugs: I don't think I would have stuck with it if Bun hadn't also hated purees (he is just starting to like things like smoothies and applesauce now) I can't believe at 7.5 months I still had to inspect his diaper to see if he ate anything as it took soooo long to get started and he had tons of tantrums over it! But like everyone said - they will get it in their own time!

Now I understand why BLW is so amazing! He only started really eating less than 2 months ago, but eats a more varied diet than so many older babies who are still on lumpy purees and tiny bits of finger foods. I am so proud when he can just grab a sandwich and start eating - even with no teeth!

Today Helen ate,

B: handful of mini shredded wheat with full fat milk
S: couple of strawberries
L: rice cake with cream cheese, bit of another rice cake, cucumber, blueberries, few pineapple crisps - she wasn't very interested in food as we were at my grandparents and she was eating on the floor with too much else to look at.
D: Beans on toast - first time, she loved it :) Raspberry fromage frais, cucumber sticks, half of a massive plum

B-Cherrios with a spash of milk (is the sugar content really that bad in Cheerios?), Plum fromage frais
L-Scrambled Egg and Toast (he loved the scrambled egg and mastered scooping it up and sucking it from his hand!!), Little Yeo Valley yoghurt, blueberries
D-Winter warmer hotpot (mince, potatoes, carrot, sweetcorn, beans) and chunky Tiger bread. Strawberry and banana for desert. He loved the hotpot and ate loads!!!

MMM, that hotpot sounds good, Poppy! Not sure on Cheerios - didn't think they were too sugary? In fact, pretty sure I read something a while ago which said they weren't (but I've got an addled brain at the moment, so don't quote me on that!)

Br: Porridge with banana, mini apricot wheats, pear
Sn: Berry rice cakes
L: Salmon and broccoli frittata, chunk of cheese, oat cake, a load of strawberries with blob of creme fraiche
Sn: Couple of cherry toms
D: Stuffed chicken, pasta, broccoli, banana, strawberry bit of yog and v.small slice of cake...as she's 11 months!

Adam has had:

b: a whole Weetabix & yogurt, a load of blueberries, some raisins
l: 1.5 drop scones with blueberries, a banana, more raisins
s: a few apple mini ricecakes, a Plum spelt breadstick
d: a mini pitta spread with houmous, some more raisins - and rejected pretty much the rest of dinner, which was lamb burger, broccoli and tomatoes, don't think he even tasted it :(

B: Dorset cereals raspberry and cranberry porridge, strawberry, fruit toast
Sn: Rice cakes - berry
L: Cheese and tomato sandwich, banana, one chocolate button!
Sn: slice of quiche
D: Chicken and vegetable casserole, fruit smoothie

B. baby sized bowl weetabix covered in greek yog, 1 slice of toast and 1 fruit pot
D. Pasta twirls with bolognaise and 1 slice of garlic bread which he demolished, 1 pinnaple ring for afters

Im amazed at how much he's eaten today, he literally not let a single thing go to waste! How long does it take your little ones to eat a meal? It can literally take Finnley up to an hour most of the time

d: home-made chicken nuggets, a Humzinger (rejected jacket potato, tomato and cucumber)
