Just wondering what your kids are reading at 10? I want to buy some books for my Caitlin over her birthday and Christmas a little different from her normal dork diaries, wimpy kid and Jaqueline.

Any suggestions?

Judy Moody is big with Hannah along with Dork Diaries that you already mentioned. Mermaid Tales. Whatever After. Candy Fairies. Secret Kingdom

Judy Moody sounds fitting for Megan crossed with Horrid Henry

Maybe some factual stuff around cool women in history or women who are inspiring, brave, body positive etc. I love this site as you can choose from categories and everything is about bringing up smart, conscientious, positive, inspiring girls https://www.amightygirl.com

I recently found a book called Bedtime Stories for Rebel Girls which looks amazing! My DD is too young for it right now, but I will definitely be reading it to her in a few years.

We have that one! Love it.

What about the oldies? Paige loved the Malory Towers series?

I LOVED anything by Roald Dahl (still do mind you), Paul Jennings and the Cronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis never get old. Also, The Black Stallion, Charlotte's Web and Black Beauty.

They do love Roald Dahl but we end up buying them to go with the blooming Roald Dahl days school do so have collected 2 per years
