Books

I'm not sure if it is of interest to you, but my favorite book of all time is "The Birth House" by Ami McKay. Her book "The Virgin Cure" is also really good.

I've read Bared to You, its much better written than 50 shades in my opinion, after a while the repetive parts of 50 shades and just the poor way it was written annoyed me so much I didn't finish them :haha: x

I did enjoy 50 shades but some of the times i did gt bored of it cus felt like it repeated itself and got bored of same thing. It took me ages to get through the 3 lol

I had a similar experience when it comes to 50 shades of Grey, what a bore! The book is not well written. I read it only because it is on the lips of everyone and I was curious, but neither the plot nor the characters are interesting. I got bored reading how the main female character talked to her inner goddess or subconscious. What a waste of time :( Hope the movie will be better.

I still need to read the hunger games trilogy. I did have the books and still in seal lol but ive gave them my mum now cus i had the kindle fire for chrimbo so will have to get them to

Oh u must read it asap! It's great and so addictive! You won't regret it :)

Ive watched the 2 movies and was saying to my oh i need to read them

I am still reading the eye collector and really loving it. Gonna finish it tomorrow not really had a lot of time to read lately with christmas coming

Just finished the last letter from my lover by jojo moyes, really enjoyed it xx

Just finished the Divergent triology. Loved it.

now starting mortal instruments...loving all these teen books...easy reading for 2am feed.

Those who read the divergent series did any of you read the 4 short stories? Are they worth it for the monies?

I am reading ^what doesnt kill her^ loving it so far quarter way through it

Trying to reread the Kushiel saga by Jacqueline Carey. Don't get a lot of reading time, and tend to fall asleep as soon as I have a chance to read. If you like fantasy, check her out.

Liked the first 2 books of the divergent trilogy ok (haven't gotten to the 3rd) and the Mortal Instruments were good, but the Infernal Devices didn't catch me as much.

I love that trilogy! I totally agree. But I can see how it would put you to sleep if you were already tired :) It can be slightly dense sometimes.

Finished the world according to garp. It was really good.

I'm now reading shopaholic abroad.

Started *officer jones* today really liking it so far

My brother sent me a copy of Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman for a christmas gift. Don't know when I'm going to get around to it.

Teething has hit and it's getting harder to get him down at night so I have those few precious minutes before I fall asleep myself.

Started reading the Boleyn Inheritance. Finding it a bit 'choppy' to read as their are three characters and each short chapter alternates whose perspective we are reading. I'll stick with it though.
