Books

I've just finished the Born trilogy by Tara Brown which I enjoyed. I've just started The Color Purple by Alice Walker. It's one I've been meaning to read for absolutely ages but not got round to it until now!

I've just finished reading the rose Gardner mysteries by Denise Grover Swank. There's four books and the fifth comes out in the summer. Really enjoyed them and can't wait for the next book!

My brother sent me a copy of Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman for a christmas gift. Don't know when I'm going to get around to it.

Teething has hit and it's getting harder to get him down at night so I have those few precious minutes before I fall asleep myself.

LOVE Neverwhere.

I love all this book talk :) I got a kindle for Christmas, and so far I have read...
The Kite Runner - Khaled Housseini
Whispers of Horror - Olga Brine (this is really a collection of letters from women who are or have been victims of domestic abuse in Russia and Ukraine)
Paying the Piper - Simon Wood
First book of The Hungers Games - Suzanne Collins (I liked it, but didn't love it?)

And I'm currently reading David Mitchells autobiography and The Picture of Dorian Grey, which I'm loving.

Getting some good ideas from this thread, SO many books on my wish list now :D

Not really done much reading last few days as been busy. But having a reading night tonight. Gonna have tea later then get in bed and read lol

Finished the Boleyn inheritance, going to start The Book of Tomorrow by Cecilia Ahern tonight.

Had a good few hours readng last night. Gonna have fer hours tonight want to try finish first book of hunger games. Reading it has made em want to watch it again lol

Yesterday I read If I Stay by Gayle Forman. I couldn't put it down! I finished it last night and started the sequel Where She Went and am currently 83% through so that will definitely be finished today. Not sure what to read after that though.

I just finished it a few days ago. It was so good that I kept finding ways to give myself reading time. I'm considering buying myself some new books, just need to decide whatv off my amazon wishlist it'll be...

Finished the first book of hunger games. Cant believe it took me till now to read it. I want to watch the movie again now lol l

The movie looks good but dont know if i would read the book

Mummy love -- just popped on as I don't read much, can't seem to find the time.
The hunger games book well I've been told to read it but it all out in local libraries big waiting list:nope:

My son has been given a big list of books he needs to read, set by English teacher as he needs to improve his story work, Is this a book for him he's going to be 13 in two weeks. He not much of a reader but if this book is that popular it must be worth a go??

Is it worth buying the hunger games books or wait on library

What other books do you recommend for my son? You seem to have large knowledge on books which is perfect as I know you'll be able to help?

Thank you :flower:
