My brother sent me a copy of Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman for a christmas gift. Don't know when I'm going to get around to it.
Teething has hit and it's getting harder to get him down at night so I have those few precious minutes before I fall asleep myself.

LOVE Neverwhere.
I love all this book talkI got a kindle for Christmas, and so far I have read...
The Kite Runner - Khaled Housseini
Whispers of Horror - Olga Brine (this is really a collection of letters from women who are or have been victims of domestic abuse in Russia and Ukraine)
Paying the Piper - Simon Wood
First book of The Hungers Games - Suzanne Collins (I liked it, but didn't love it?)
And I'm currently reading David Mitchells autobiography and The Picture of Dorian Grey, which I'm loving.
Getting some good ideas from this thread, SO many books on my wish list now![]()
Currently reading 12 years a slave. Loving it

I knew it was a movie but didn't know it was a book too![]()
Mummy love -- just popped on as I don't read much, can't seem to find the time.
The hunger games book well I've been told to read it but it all out in local libraries big waiting list
My son has been given a big list of books he needs to read, set by English teacher as he needs to improve his story work, Is this a book for him he's going to be 13 in two weeks. He not much of a reader but if this book is that popular it must be worth a go??
Is it worth buying the hunger games books or wait on library
What other books do you recommend for my son? You seem to have large knowledge on books which is perfect as I know you'll be able to help?
Thank you![]()
