Books

The constant princess by Philippa Gregory (of the other Boleyn girl fame). Owned it years and never read it. I am loving reading again!! Finished girl with the pearl earring in 4 days lol :)

Is that the one about katherine of Aragon? I've read a couple of her others and enjoyed them.

Yes. I've read the other Boleyn girl and another which i can't remember. I'm an early modern historian by degree so i do love historical novels. :)

I am loving how i can read books from the library on my kindle :)

Was struggling on what to read so looked this up:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/arts/bigread/top100.shtml

How many have you read?? Wanna try work my way through them.

I've read 35 of them. There's a few more on there I'd like to read, but can't say I'm particularly interested in them all, the Jacqueline Wilson's, for example. It would be interesting to see what books would make the list now, after Harry Potter fever has died down.

I just read My Husbands Secret - deff worth a read for all us suburban mummies.

Before that read the Elemental series - typical vampire romance stuff.

and before that was the Girl in a Box series (10 shortish) books - Kinda hunger games meets Divergent.

Oh and the wise mans fear - 2nd book in the kingskiller series by Patrick Rothfuss- not sure why but just LOVE the series.

(you can tell im back at work with a 2 hr commute each day!!)

Just finished The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton, love all of her books. Next to read is The Paying Guests by Sarah Waters, have read all her books too and think they're spellbinding reads.

I have a book out if anybody is interested. I don't want to turn this into an advertisement because I know it's not allowed, but at the same time if anybody likes werewolf books it would be a shame for me NOT to mention it, because personally, and I'm trying to be objective here, I think it's worth a read if you like that genre.

It's called Wolf Born by N. Gosney

it's available on Amazon.

Finished Gone with the Wind and started The Kings Curse by Philippa Gregory. Got the hardback version for £4.99 off bookpeople, bargain!

I just started The Moment you were gone by Nicci Gerrard, who is part of a writing team, Nicci French with her husband.

Just thought I'd bump this!

I'm currently reading All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. I love it :)

I've just started reading 'The Girl On The Train' - had good reviews on amazon and a couple of people at work had mentioned it. I'm only 100 pages in so far but I found it hard to put down so that's always a good sign! It's kinda like a Gone Girl style thriller..

Ive read quite a few books since the thread went dead lol.

ATM im reading *the escort*

I want to read that, Laura.

But I catch two trains every day of the week and I'm scared I'll scare myself :dohh: xxx

It's not scary and nothing to do with catching trains being scary really :)

I'm making my way through the Harry Potter series. Joshua has started reading them but as I have never read them before, I thought I would get a head start so I can decide which ones will be suitable for him. I am somewhat loosing the will to live, currently on the Order of the Phoenix.

im reading into the darkest corner. its first book that's really gripped me for a while
