I neeed to get reading again, just no time!
I've downloaded the farm, we need to talk about Kevin, wild and this is where I leave you. Loads of the books I had on my amazon wishlist have been turned into films now

I would be lost without me reading now. I only took it up properly 2 and alf years ago since i got a kindle. I am visually impaired so struggle with book. So happy

I am reading all the books my Brendan sanderson - if the next (if not better George RR Martin) if you like fantasy you cant beat him.

Also read the Hobbitt (as never had) - and kinda disappointed not at all worth the hype was going to read the Lord of the Rings but not sure if can be bothered now.

I've read both, and started wrong because I read Lord of the Rings before the Hobbit back when I was a kid. (oops) Lord of the Rings is soooooooo much better in my opinion. Well, once you get past the first couple of chapters. I'm not a hobbit fan, so it took me two tries to get past that first part. Once they got to Bree and met up with Strider (Aragorn), I was hooked. I got so involved with the characters that I read the notes at the end, and cried a little when I read about Aragorn's death (which occurred years and years after the book, so that's not a spoiler, I promise!). If you enjoy fantasy, definitely give LotR at least one try. I re-read it every couple of months just because I love it even more after each additional reading.

The Hobbit bores me to tears, as much as I love Tolkien. There is just so much more character development, action, and over-all plot in Lord of the Rings!

I'm hoping to start a MA in History in the next couple of years and so I'm trying to research a possible project subject. At undergrad level my specialism was Early Modern so it's the right era and I also have a bit of an obsession with Henry VII lol

Going to put it down and start again at the beginning after Half Term.

I have started reading Fifty Shades of Grey again since the movie was coming out. I was gonna try to finish it before seeing the movie, but I went to it last night and I'm only about half way through it so far!

I'm reading the rosie effect atm which is the follow on from the rosie project. I also read giovanna flectures books which were very good.

I'm reading this too! I loved The Rosie Project!

I only just joined the thread so not sure if it's already been recommended, but I love Sophie Kinsella's books, so many are laugh out loud funny and very addictive. I recently read Shopaholic to the Stars which was hilarious, but my all time fave has to be The Undomestic Goddess.
I read a huge genre of books, but after reading quite a few books filled with death - such as The Maze runner series, I've decided some lighter hearted chick-lit is needed for a few books xxx

Sophie kinsella is my guilty pleasure, but I didn't like shopaholic to the stars either I thought becky was selfish and vapid.

I'm re reading some Pratchett. I'm reading the witches books and I've just got onto maskerade. I'm also reading a hypnobirthing book but had to have something to take my mind off pregnancy on the go as well.
