Joseph Samuel
Jacob Samuel

I like the name Samuel as a first name but hate it being shortened to Sam so dont think i can use it as a christian name happily

I really like Jacob Samuel and Samuel Jacob. My brother has two boys, Christopher and Benjamin, neither will be called by nicknames (Chris, Ben, Benji, etc). My brother does not like nicknames. I am not a fan of them myself. You could avoid Sam...at least while he's a boy.
