That's a very good point! I have always wondered how to make the excitement last longer x

Our boys are early risers but don't tend to eat breakfast till later so I can't imagine waiting till afterwards. Plus you have to walk past the presents to get the the kitchen/diner. I usually send oh down first to turn the lights on and then we will all go down.

We do stockings upstairs in ds's room or our room.
Then go down n i make a drink then we all go into front room together n open presents n i make breakfast n we eat whilst unwrapping. Its christmas so eating where ever u are is acceptable (well for breakfast n tea, not christmas dinner of course)
Then this year we will be skpying inlaws to open ds's presents from them and will have my mum over from SA so will then have presents from them before christmas dinner
