while i agree that attitudes about bf need to be changed, im not out on a crusade to change the world. i just dont feel the need to broadcast to the world that im feeding my baby. i dont need people to notice what im doung to feel more comfortable in my decision.
What does that even mean?! As it stand society is patriarchal and not equal so women do need to argue their rights. How would it be unequal for men and women to both be allowed to go topless without feeling uncomfortable or obscene?and even if i was "allowed" why would i want to? im all for equality, not just for " womans" rights.

And thats fine, do what you are comfortable with. I just want people to not judge the mothers who aren't as discreet as them, because we are trying to do our bit to make BFing more normal and that involves making it more visible.

this a debate about bf in public not about sexism.

Its the sexist attitude towards breasts that makes people offended and uncomfortable by NIP so sexism is a part of this problem. If we (as in Western society) viewed male and female breasts as equally unoffensive then people wouldn't be demanding that mothers are discreet or even not feed at all in public.
