Breastfeed, if baby having poop explosion and spitup

Is this meaning he is eating too much milk...constantly on boob but hen he screams and has spit up and explosion poop.

I think so too..He does this whenever he goes nuts over feeding

Mine did a poop explosion and a projectile vomit at least once per day. The poop explosions are normal in a newborn bf baby. The spit up can be normal too but it might be worth getting your LO checked out for reflux if he is screaming and then being sick, as this is a common symptom

Sounds pretty normal, as Lon as poop looks normal and spit up is not crazy amounts, I would keep doing what your doing!

Explosive poop = normal for bf baby....unfortunately. We have constanant poop up the back....

Happy spit up + small amounts = normal. My LO went through a period, around 5-6 weeks adjusted actually, where he spit up every day, but it was happy spit up. I think he was eating a tad too much. When I first started feeding him bottles of expressed milk, I overfed him and got projectile vomit.

Its a good thing. You got a fab supply and baby is able to get all he wants and a little bit more which he brings back.

Breastfed baby poop is explosive. Totally normal.

And he's 5.5weeks...as in approaching 6 weeks....as in growth spurt time. If he's feeding more its cos he's gonna do some growing!
