I should know this being the 4 th time round but just wandered how much your newborns breastfeed at night?

Isabelle is only a few days old but seems to want to constantly in the night. I have a bedside cot but she won't settle in there so we end up co sleeping, Iv done this with all my children but feel like she wants to latch on constantly! Anyone else with a lo like this?? Xx

My son was latched on 24/7 for the first two months. All night long...he absolutely freaked if he couldn't find the nipple.

Yep, mine was feeding constantly. At least it's a bit easier when you're content to cosleep. :)

My son was like that during the first month, it was tough! We co-sleep and it just makes it easier. He's getting better now, sleeping 5 hour stretches at night! Hang in there xx

I lose count! It feels like it's constant at the moment!

My dd nursed every 1.5-2 hours through the night as a newborn usually until about 3am and then she would stay latched on for the next few hours.

Dd was latched on all last night! Sleeping beautifully this morning tho(gets up every 2 hrs)=( I also can't remember the last time I feel asleep laying down and not in an upright position all niht!

Hi Embeth :) I don't check the clock during the night anymore 🙈 Between the grunts and the feeding it feels constant!

Thanks all! Well since I posted this she has been sleeping so well.. Wakes up every 3 and quite often 4 hours apart! I often have to wake her in the morning!!
