They're meant to be able to hold up their head and shoulders I think. With Ally, if we hold him around the waist, he keeps himself upright...so I think he's ready for a bumbo. I figure, I'm going to let him try it and if he's not ready for it then we'll wait for another time.

I bought one when Jack was about 3mths - he has never liked it that much, but will sit in it for a bit with some toys on the tray. Here he is on the day we bought it (with my daughter)

some of your babies are roughly the same as mine - mine is not sotting up yet?!

do you wait until they can sit up?? no...cos it's supposed to help them to be able to sit up? i don't get it...?

(i didn't use to be this thick i'm sure...!~)
