I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant cos I don't feel the same as when I was pregnant with James. Have a left over test upstairs but have already pee'd like 3 times this morning!

Now you'll get pee fright! :haha:

Good luck and let us know how you get on!

Morning all ive woken with yet another stinking headache (not as bad now as was when I woke up) seems to of eased since being

Hurray LK, hope your body calms down with the symptoms :flower: :hugs:

Hope the headache goes soon Maffie :hugs:

Just waiting on someone to come and collect a fish tank and cabinet, sold it on ebay and its down in the cellar and pretty heavy so hope they don't mind having to help shift it. Chloe is having another nap, she is a bit under the weather but i'm not sure why, thought it was teething but she is quite windy/gassy. Not sure what isn't agreeing with her, she is quite loose too but again I can't tell if its due to teething, oh and she has a runny nose so that could also be why as its a constant bogie waterfall. She hasn't eaten much either, baby porridge, a rice cake and milk feeds, yesterday she managed porridge, a sandwich and some carrot snacks and milk feeds. She is very very cuddily which certainly means she isn't feeling it. :(

Chaos, how's Autumn doing? And how are you too?

LK, glad the test only had onbe line for you!

Maffie, it sucks about your still having the MS & headaches. Are they related at all?

Kte, hope Chloe feels a bit better soon.

Harry's been super clingy today. He's not had much to eat either & is just generally grizzly. He doesn't want to be held, doesn't want to be left alone either, so it's kinda hit n miss as to what settles him today... Teething hey? Darn it!!!! Got nurse's appointment tomorrow so if he's still sulky then, I'll mention it, just incase it's not his gums & he's coming down with something...

Seems like a lot of bubbas are a bit under the weather at the moment :(

Hope everyone had good weekends?

Morning all, Flora the doc reckons it's hormones causing the headaches. He said they should go by 18 weeks. Well not been able to track down a community midwife here, they were meant to make me an appointment but none so far (least im still seeing hospital). Will call them again today.

Noah slept through :happydance: so my heads feeling much more normal this morning. He's all smiles so far today, it's a right cheeky smile too.

It does seem to be lots of grizzly babies recently, maybe a few bugs going round and combine that with teething it's pretty rough on them.

Morning all,

Had a broken night sleep wise last night, she still feeling the same and just wanted company really. Once she was settled she would be fine for a bit but then wake and woundn't be able to self settle. I settled her at 1.20 but by 1.40 she was crying again, Nij was up and leaving for work then so I just took her into our bed and she lasted until 6am. I was a bit worried she would wiggle and fall off the bed but she was fine, barely fidgited and if she did it was to turn over so see me.

My Mum has her today, had the day booked in ages ago, think it will be good for her to be out and about rather than stuck at home as she is getting a bit bored. She gets to see my little cousin's (not sure how that works out in Chloe's relationship terms  2nd cousin's perhaps ). One is only a week younger than Chloe so they should have fun. I made her a packed lunch too, 1st time ever lol

Flora: Have a good appointment today and hope Harry is feeling better :flower:

Maffie: Hope you get someone (MW) finally! Glad the head is better today :D

Hope all our poorly babies get better soon :hugs: :flower:

So my Bumpkin is also ill now. He has a full-blown head cold, snorting away, snot pouring out his nose  He is still teething as well, so all in all he ain't in the best of ways. The past four mornings have begun at the following times of day, so you might guess that I am not feeling happy or good: 5.15am, 5am, 4am and now 3am. Yup, today he pretty much was awake from 3am until 8.30am, save for some restless sleep in bouts of quarter-hours between 4am and 6am. I have to work today, so I stayed in our bed while OH and Monty went into the spare room. Even so, I could hear him crying each time he woke, so I am still knackered. He is right off his food, and he isn't too bothered about BF either.

Having said all of that, we had a jolly good weekend and did LOADS. Plus got a lovely picture book, two pairs of dungarees and a top all for Monty for a total of £4.50 at Hope carboot sale.

Chaos, what's going on? How are you and Autumn?

Maffie, soooo cool to hear Noah slept through :happydance:

Jo, how are you?

Happy Monday!

Well after a rough week, I think it's safe to say that that missy is over the worse of it. She's been eating normally for 2 days and has not thrown up or had a runny bum in the same amount of time .. her poo has gone like hard rabbit pellets tho .. I'm hoping she don't get impacted :/ Another little girl in our mums group just had this (she's 1) and after a week of vomiting/runny tummy she got impacted and needed an enema. Gah.

I'm taking her out the house for the first time since Wednesday. It's supposed to be 97f today with a heat index that makes it feel like 106f today. Nasty!!! Last night the low was 79f! That's like the middle of an English summer haha.

Maffs ~ That sucks about so many headaches :( You been to a chiropractor before?

Kte ~ Hows Chloe feeling?

Flora ~ Poor Mr. Harry :( Yanno, I started giving Autumn the sugar free ice lollys. Not the ones on the sticks, the ones in the long plastic sleeve that you freeze your self. Partly because it's over 100f here every day, but them helping her gums was a great side effect! Keeps her quiet for like 30 minutes lol.

Colsy ~ Try and get some Karvol and dot it around Montys cot, you can also put it on a hankie and just keep it around him in the day. I got my Auntie to send some over for when Missy had a cold .. it worked better than anything else. I always remember it really helping me when I was a kid too.

Colsy Sorry to hear Monty isn't well, hope he gets better soon too. :flower: We use Karvol too, great stuff.

Chaos So glad Autum is on the mend now, hope she doesn't get impacted too, doesn't sound nice. :hugs: I can't even imagine the sunsine at the moment - 'it's grim up north', again :haha:

Chloe was a bit of the same this morning but no feedback from my Mum so hope she is okay, she looks okay, I did just receieve a picture sent from my Mum's phone and had to share, can't believe how similar they look!

Kte- Cute photo of Chloe and your cousin's baby :) Hope she is feeling better today.

Colsy- Poor Monty- hope he is feeing better today too!

Chaos- glad to hear Autumn is feeling better!

Maffie- Hope you're feeling better! One of my co-workers suffered with bad headaches during the 1st and 2nd tri but I think the doc gave her some kind of prescription (could be wrong about that though). I hope the hormones calm down a bit for you and the headaches clear. WTG Noah on sleeping through!!

Flora- Hope Harry is feeling better!

Okay, I have to chuckle at my comments- notice a trend? :haha: Seriously though, does seem like a lot of babies under the weather atm. Emma's been clingy- not showing any real signs of illness so far though (fx'd!). She's been ridiculously hard to put to bed at night for the past week and has skipped her afternoon nap for the past 2 days. On Saturday, I decided to take the easy route since we had company over, and BF'd her in our bed after dinner, letting her fall asleep in our bed and stay there overnight. I did the same last night since I wanted to get some stuff done around the house in the evening  I should really get some kind of bed rail though- she slid halfway off the bed around 3am  She didn't wake up though- I caught her before she fell (kinda crazy how I can be totally asleep but sense that something is about to happen!). She's turned really wriggly in her sleep lately.

The weekend was a bit of a washout- had BIL and my bro over for a BBQ on Saturday night but no picnic. We planned to put it off until Sunday because the weather was supposed to be better but then my mum ended up in hospital so we spent yesterday aft visiting her there. Had a gallbladder attack and had to have it removed last night. She's never had issues with her gallbladder before, so it sort of took us by surprise. Anyway, I haven't heard anything from my dad so I assume she's doing fine from the surgury (still fairly early here, so haven't had an update from him yet).

Hope everyone is having a good Monday!

Woah, Monty has just learned to stand up holding on to the side of his cot or the small butcher's block in the kitchen. Oh lawdy, just when he was FINALLY getting bored of rolling and crawling each time I put him to bed, now I suppose he's gonna be practising standing up. Somehow I think our days are going to involve lots of :coffee::coffee::coffee: this week.

Kaites, that sounds eventful!!!

Chaos, glad to hear lil miss is doing better.

gosh, our babies seem to be going through it this week!

I think Harry might have a urine infection  There was a patch of like yellowy milky stuff on his nappy & his penis looks kinda red & swollen. I freaked out n called the surgury, but then said to just mention it to the nurse this afternoon rather than get a Drs appointment... Typical. I bet the nurse will say something like you need to see a GP, lol. He's still a bit grizzly today too.
On a lighter note, he has been venturing into the realms of 'real' crawling last night & today, then earlier before his nap, started to 'mowgli' walk (like in the jungle book when he's following the elephant parade) across the living room for about 2 metres!!! Thennn..... collapsed & headbutted the floor & mouth full of rugt fluff, lol. He wasn't bothered though, son all good. :)

anyways... got the nurse appointment in just under an hour, so I guess I should go wake him up & get him sorted. (can't have a scruffy looking baby when out n about, lol! even when I look rough as hell)

see yas later :)

Don't you just hate waking your baby? It just seems wrong! How do others do this? I take ages, creeping around the room in the hope that Monty might just casually open an eye and notice me. But he hardly ever does and I end up opening the curtains, whispering 'Monty darling' louder and louder, and usually end up with a right grump cos he was in the middle of a lovely sleep.

Chaos never seen a chiropractor they are the scary ones that crack you arent they? Ive suffered migraines for 22 years and my meds keep them in check but they aren't safe in BF or pregnancy. Never had headaches with Noah, Im seeing consultant in 4 weeks so if they aren't gone then i'll discuss it further.

I've just got a letter through that I need to see a haematologist (they are trying to decide if im at risk of clots (blood disorder) outside of pregnancy). Feel like ive got loads of hospital appointments coming. Still not got hold of a mw or work :dohh:

Hope Monty is better soon Colsy and Chaos glad to hear Autumn is on the mend, hope the poo issue sorts out asap.

Kaites hope you mum makes a speedy recovery, sounds like an eventful weekend.

Kte yu mum's garden looks nice, makes me want to come play :haha:

Flora is there a chance a nappy as split and caused an irritation? Noah was ina disposable that bust and he got a red patch on his willy it soon cleared up with some Metanium cream (bright yellow stuff)

Wahey, just had an email to say I'm thro to next stage of my project tender! Sooooooo excited.

:happydance: congrats!!

Flora- hope Harry is okay and it isn't a UTI :hugs:

argh- would someone please tell my daughter that she is NOT a cat?!?!?!?! Everytime I turn around this morning, she's crawling at top speed for the cat's food dish and I actually caught her eating the kibble at one point when I came back from having to nip out of the room  At least it's Halo cat food (all natural- ingredients list looks like human food) but it's still gross- and the poor cat keeps coming up to me like "I don't want to share my food- make her stop!"

Oh and when she was playing in the TV room in the basement, she kept trying to climb up on the coffee table. I thought that she had given up her climbing mission and moved onto playing with the plastic tub for her blocks, but soon realized that she had other plans for the plastic tub, and was trying to use it as a step up to the coffee table :dohh: Little daredevil went flying when the tub tipped over but is okay

Maffie: I wish it was hers lol, or more so, mine! :haha: It's my Aunt and Uncle's garden, its pretty darn nice though. I'd love to have something like that for Chloe to play in!

Colsy: Congrats! What happens next?

Flora: Did the nurse figure out what was wrong with Harry? Hope it's not too bad and clears soon :flower:

Kaites: Hope your Mum makes a speedy recovery :flower: Oh no, glad Chloe doesn't want the cat food! She goes crazy over the cats but I don't let her venture into the kitchen due to it still being un-grouted (the floor) not the best combination for little knees. I'm sure a tiny bit won't do her any harm!

I though we would all have a crawling period before the Bumpkins wanted to get on their feet but it seems they are all determined to get up and walk already! Chloe learnt to crawl forwards last wednesday and already she tries to stand up, she gets into the 'mowgli' position as Flora describes it. Doesn't move like that though, she is just trying to get her legs straight to stand up.

Just sat waiting for Nij, he broke down at work earlier and is still on his way home, he broke down at 11am :dohh:

Sorry if I missed anyone, he almost home so im off to make tuna pasta for dinner :)

Hi girls. Had a drs appointment this afternoon to get a return to work certificate so asked her about the pregnancy symptoms. Started bleeding this morning so kinda confirms the test. She said it could be the implant causing the symptoms and basically if they don't get any better then the only real option is to get it removed which means we would have to resort to condoms. I am in a bit of a quandry now cos this is the 2nd month I've had pregnancy symptoms and this time was far worse. It also puts me at higher risk of ectopic pregnancy if I were to fall pregnant on it, and because of my previous miscarriages there could be higher risk of miscarriage too.

Sounds like some of the babies are feeling rather poorly right now. Big hugs for them all. James is still trying to cut those teeth so is drooling like a basset hound lol.

Maffie - sounds like you're having a tough time of it right now. Hope the headaches and sickness clear up soon.
