Colsy I rub Noah back gently as im waking him up, usually gives me a groggy sleepy smile as he wakes that way (he sleeps on his tummy and knees with bum in the air), good luck with the next round in the tender.

LK ive seen a few threads on here about the implant causing pregnancy symptoms. Never fancied trying it, in fact I haven't found any reliable and suitable contraception.

Chaos never seen a chiropractor they are the scary ones that crack you arent they? Ive suffered migraines for 22 years and my meds keep them in check but they aren't safe in BF or pregnancy. Never had headaches with Noah, Im seeing consultant in 4 weeks so if they aren't gone then i'll discuss it further.

Yup! I also suffered from migraines since I was 9. Since I started seeing a chiropractor while I was pregnant (since 4 months) I've had about 5 migraines in that time (15 months) .. most of them because I've got over tired and that's one of my triggers. If I go to see him while I actually have one, he'll adjust my neck and it will go with in 30 minutes!

The noise is worse than how it feels, it actually feels really good and loosens your right on up. In fact I'm just off to him now! lol

Colsy, I never have to wake him up as such, in the sense that I got into his room to wake him up, but the second I enter the room, he always wakes up, looks a bit confused, focusses on who I am & I get a nice big smile. Everytime...
It's so weird, as my OH can go into the room & he's the noisiest git in the world, but Harry doesn't wake up until he hears Oh say something, the he's wide awake. I've only had to shake him awake once- that time when the sensor alarm went off & I couldn't get him to wake up, which scared the living daylights out of me...

The nurse couldn't see antyhing wrong with his wee (looked & smelled (!) perfectly normal) but agreed that his willy was a little bit red & just suggested sudacreme & keeping an eye on it. If it gets worse, bring him back in. I've got asthma clinic on thursday so if it's not better I will mention it then too if I can;'t get an appointment. he seems ok othewr than the teething related grizzlyness.

Cant sleep.......

Glad Harry doesnt have a uti

I think any clicking Chaos might make me sick, im a bit funny about joints clicking since I bent my leg 90 degrees in the wrong direction years ago, we have an advert here where a lady slips on a wet floor and hits her knee, turns my stomach every time.

Right going to wash up I think.... tv is rubbish at this time.

Morning all,

Maffie: Eee urgh! Just thinking about that advert makes me cringe! I have to close my eyes and imagine it's someone hitting a snooker ball to distract my self from it! :haha: OMG your knee accident sounds nasty. Joints and bones make me cringe too, not sure why, spines really make me cringe. I went to a health and safety training session at work once about manual handling, the tutor had a modal spine and was wibbiling it about and wanted us to pass it around and I felt really faint - sad I know, it just really gets to me! Hope you manages to catch up on some sleep :flower:

Chaos: Sounds like it's pretty darn good stuff though, hope you have a good session :D I know Nij used to swear by it too when he had physio for his back, amazing one session made a world of difference.

Colsy: I go in and rub Chloe and just say her name softly, sometimes I have just taken her downstairs whilst she is all sleepy and start changing / dressing her anyway if I am in a rush for the bus. She rubs her eyes and slowly comes around. It's not nice but can be quite sweet at the same time when waking!

LK: Hope your body settles down and the symptoms go, can't be nice :hugs:

Flora: Glad Harry doesn't have an infection, hope the redness goes soon :flower:

:hugs: To all the Bumpkin grizzlers out there :flower:

LK i have the implant for the second time. I had pg symptoms when i first had it in a few years ago, it does get better! Ive not had them this time but i have no bleeding whatsoever x

morning!

hope all the sick babies are feeling better today! We are getting ready to head out on a cycling/beach adventure- it's super humid outside so I must be insane but I already promised my friend I'd be there. The beach is about 8km away so it should be interesting. I know I'll be fine cycling there- it's the little hills on the way home, with a head wind and being in the sun all afternoon that might be the killer! I've packed lots of water and snacks and I'm just waiting for Emma to wake from her nap. I hope I don't have to wake her- she is usually a grump if I have to wake her up.

Have fun at the beach Kaites sounds like good fun. Good luck with the cycling :)

Well just had a nap, cant believe I only got 2 hours sleep last night. No reason for it just couldn't sleep :dohh: There's some pretty rubbish tv on in the early hours.

Kte im the same with joints, yeah I bust my leg up real good but had it all fixed (thankfully the company I worked for at the time believed in private healthcare, was an American company)

hmmmm what to have for dinner I cant decide, aromatic duck or chicken kiev.

Afternoon girls!

Well I took Autumn to the Chiropractor this morning cause she's still stuffed up (3 days now) he adjusted her this morning and she's become a pooping machine ever since. 4 fricking times!! He rocks lol.

Dr has given me some new pills to try for my IBS (having a flair up right now, I think it's all the stress from the M/C then Missy being sick) it sucks cause it just feels like something is trying to chew its way out my tummy. I'd take labour 10 times over rather than this!

Maffs ~ Sorry you aint got any sleep. I'd go with chicken kiev. Yummy!

Kaites ~ Have fun on your adventure. We had a storm last night and it dropped from 106f to 81f! I almost got my coat out ;)

Flora ~ Hoping Harrys winky gets better! I know my friends 3 year old winky gets red and inflamed when he gets a nappy rash.

Baby and I just woke up from 1.5 hour nap! I love afternoon naps :)

I have a kiev love Chaos had it daily for hmmm a week already  Glad to hear Autumn is back in working order.

My brother made a funny face at Noah's nappy this morning as it was spotty :haha: he wasn't expecting to see a poo with pees in it.

Hey ladies,

Hope we're all well. Just thought I'd stop by before I head off to bed as I'm going to go goggle eye'd soon! I've done god knows how many applications this past few days and nothing. I got a 'prospective interview' from a company but after doing some research it turns out it's a scam and I'll end up doing door-to-door! Errrrrr no thank you!! :growlmad: I'm just trying so hard and Im not getting anywhere. Even the supermarkets haven't got anything for shelf-stacking (got to call the ones further afield tomorrow). I have written so many emails, sent out so many CV's and I'm now holding out for absolutely ANYTHING!!! This is just downright depressing! I'm obviously unemployable! :hissy: (Sorry I'm just feeling a bit sorry for myself tonight).

Earl is fab! I weighed and measured him for his 9 month stats and he is now 74cm tall and weighs 24lb on the dot! Eeeeeek! I thought he'd gotten a little heavier and his legs grew about 2cm overnight the other day (his rompers now fit properly after being down to his ankles! :haha: He's now establishing a repertoire of chasing his toy train around, attempting to catch the dog and generally babbling to the tune of da-da-da-da continuously. Does anyone know when to expect our first words? I'm thinking in the next couple of weeks as he's so close. You ask Earl 'Where's Daddy?' or 'Where's Mummy?' and he will look around and smile at me or Hubby, or if you're asking him he will reach out and touch your arm....sooo cute! So he obviously knows who we are and recognises the words.....only a matter of time until we copy! :happydance:

Right, I'm off to bed before my brain pours out of my ears!

Have a nice evening ladies :flower::hugs::kiss: Hugs to everyone and all the babies!!

Maffie- chicken kiev would be my vote too  Hope you get a better night's sleep tonight.

Chaos- glad to hear the chiro helped Autumn out and hope your IBS settles down. Sounds terrible :hugs:

Aimee- hope the job search picks up for you :hugs: Sounds like Earl is doing well!

Phew- I survived the bike ride to and from the beach  Anything that requires that much effort needs to be commemorated with photos :) ... and a cold beer :haha:

Emma passed out in the bike trailer upon arrival- you'd think she'd been the one doing all the work!

Snack time- mostly for Mummy's benefit though

Emma signing "bird"- not perfect, should be beside her nose but she's got the gist of the sign

After dunking her face under- I should have smeared on the sunscreen a bit more evenly

Good lord girls, I think I'm falling to bits at the moment.

I gotta go back to the OB tomorrow as I've started bleeding again .. well I say again, I've never really stopped since the M/C .. but the last week or so it had lessened to more like the end of a period .. you know, not enough for a pad, but annoying enough to have to have a panty liner .. well I thought I'd be totally finished soon. Well 2 days ago I started bleeding heavily again .. I say heavily .. to me it looks like the start of my period. I'm heavy for 2 days, light for 1, then finished on the 4th. Anyway it confused me because I didn't think I could have a period whilst still bleeding from the M/C you know? So anyways I called the OB to ask them what they thought and they want me in the the morning for an U/S and blood work just to make sure nothing to do is going on in there.

So hopefully its just my period and we can start :sex: again! I have my clear blue smiley face ovulation kit all ready to go haha.

Maffs ~ Oh I do love a Kiev. Hmm I might make some for dinner tomorrow!

Amiee ~ Sorry you're having such a hard time finding a job. A mum on a local board I talk on is having the same issue, she said she can't believe that with 8 years teaching, 2 degrees, she looks at over 1000 jobs and she's not qualified for any of them right now. Job market sucks everywhere.

WTG Earl! Growing fast!

Kaites ~ Love the pictures! Emma looks really long sitting there on the blanket!

Ok I better make some dinner before my kid eats her way out her jumparoo. Creamy mushroom chicken today with egg noodles, she LOVES it! lol

aimee, where about's in Norwich are you? (if you dont mind me asking?) I can ask my dad if he knows of anything going. He has 'connections' lol. He's just outside the city centre. Job centre in Nch sucks- my aunty works there & she says it's useless if you have any form of qualifications as it's all minimum wage unskilled jobs. I was like, but just coz you have qualifications doesn't mean you dont need that minimum wage job as much as the next person you know!!! Apparently the more qualificatiojns you have these days, the less 'loyal' you appear to so-called lower end jobs, as they see it as as soon as you find something better, you'll be off. Fair point I guess, but still....

Harry's man-bits seem fine today  I'm wondering if it was like maffie said & that it got irritated from the nappy? Today was a hungry day- he fed 11 times!!!! AND had 3 meals & a snack today, which has got to be the most he's ever eaten. I'm thinking we might just be entering another growth spurt period? Darn it!

Kaites, great pics! :) Emma's such a cutie.

Everyone, it's been ages since we did some photo updates of our LOs. I'd love to see some recent pics of these gorgeous bumpkin bubbas! :)

:grr: just lost a MASSIVE post :dohh: Milk to buy, :coffee: and start again!

Morning all,

'Tis my birthday today, virtual :cake: for all :happydance: x

Birthday plans - work! Hurray :haha: Hair cut at lunch time and then an evening meal with Nij whilst my Mum and Dad Chloe-sit. Kinda weird not having her with us but I just wanted to be able to have a few hours me time chillin' with Nij. She was so beautiful and all smiles this morning though. Haven't opened any presents as waiting until home time.

Aimee: That sucks on the job front, hope somewhere gives you one soon. I had written before kind of what Flora put, your most likely over qualified but I still think that's discriminative as you still need the money!! Okay you might not be loyal but I doubt most of the under-qualified are loyal either!

Flora: Glad Harry's soreness have gone

Maffie: So was it kiev in the end? :haha: I really want some now!

Choas: Gosh, your having a run of it, really hope the IBS calms down soon :flower: Also hope they can suss out the bleeding too :hugs: Glad the chiro loosened Autumn.

Kaites: Excellent pictures, looks like you had a great time at the beach - how was the ride home? There I was complaining when the sun came out a little yesterday on my walk to the bus, well it was uphill and I had no drink but still nothing in comprison! Does Emma's hat have a chin strap? I need to get one like that for Chloe, she is always pulling them off the little madam!

Has anyone noticed that their Bumpkin is testing them? I suddenly feel I have to be careful how I go about things as I don't want to develop any bad habbits. Things are fine at the mo but I have noticed that Chloe now throws her teddy / toy out the pram as a game rather than due to a co-ordiation error! Or she screms for me at bed time for no particular reason other than she wants me to watch her fall asleep. The latter is a new one as usually she only screams when something is up but I think she is starting to test Mummy!

Best be off and get some work done :D

Happy birthday Kte. Are we allowed to ask ... ?! Hope you have a lovely day and a good evening out with Nij. Is this your first time out without Chloe?

:haha: Yeah go on then, I am 28 today! Kinda like it as it's the same number as the day and the year I was born (but backwards) That's how I used to remember my birthday when I was little!

I have been without her once, my Mum took her for a few hours when she was a few months old. It's kinda weird as its different as to when I am at work and she is at nursery becasue we can be together if that makes sence!

Just a quickie as im starving I ended up with tomatoes on toast but kiev in for lunch yum yum yum

Kte happy birthday :)

Happy 28th Birthday Katie :) We would've been in the same year at school

Ok, so i dunno if it's the hormones or what, but some lady at the baby group I go to on wednesdays really annoyed me today! :grr:
Everyone was talking about weaning & how fabulous Annabel Karmel's new book is & they were giving out photocopies of some nice recipes & stuff. One lady was sitting in the corner & looked a bit left out... I noticed that both me & her had the oldest babies there today & that we were both very quiet with this subject. So i asked her if she does BLW & she said yes. Straight away this stupid lady pipes up, 'I think BLW is ridiculous & irresponsible! It's digusting seeing grubby children eating with their hands!'
I was in total shock, but I wasn't gonna keep quiet so I said, 'It's only messy at first & they learn to use cutlery the same time as any other baby. Weaning in any form is messy, but it's so nice that they eat the same as you & can be included in our mealtimes.'
'Well, that's fine at home, but what are you gonna do whehn you're out & about or your son's at nursery? They aren't gonna faff around with all that- he'll get fed the same as everyone else.' she replied.
Well, I was fricking speechless. I said, 'well, i would fully expect a nursery to respect my parenting choices & give them the food he's used to, rather than purees & surely they have to do what I ask them to do?' (this caused a debate in itself, lol)
The other lady who was doing BLW looked furious too & started sticking up for herself & her parenting choices, while the rest of the room was in silence!
How rude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have no issues with how anyone chooses to feed their child & have never commented on this kinda thing- I always stay out of it & keep quiet because it's not my place, ya know. It really makes me angry when people feel the need to pass judgement on other's because it's different from their own way of doing things.

Ok, rant over. Just really, really annoyed me!
