Evenin' all,

Been to my Uncle's funeral today, it's been a long day and were a bit pooped to say the least, sad occasion but nice to meet up with family again and my cousins and myself got to show off our new additions to the family.

Chaos: :hugs: My mum has a saying ' the bugger it up fairy has been again', made me smile when she said that. Hope Autumn feels better soon, sucks about the dairy :hugs:

Colsy: Hope the sleep techniques work again tonight :flower:

Maffie: Hope Noah's temp goes back to normal :hugs:

Sounds like tis going to be a quiet week next week, what with Colsy and Flora away! Hope your both having a nice time though ladies :flower:

Well Noah has a new trick he decides to roll off during nappy change stands up and wees
yes wee. Loves to wee with no nappy on :dohh: He happily sits on potty now but never goes on it

Hope the sleep carries on in the right direction Colsy

Chaos my brother discovered milk proteins in all sorts especially in some meat (they bulk some cooked meats with milk protein) He has Crohns so has to limit is dairy.

Morning all,

Maffie: :dohh: Oh dear about Noah's cheeky weeing!

I'm so sleepy  but it was down to my cat! He woke me up at 4am as all I could her was 'meow', 'meow', 'meow', 'meow', 'meow', 'meow', 'meow', 'meow'; you get the picture! The pesk, he wanted to go out, had food and a litter tray and a comfy bed but no, he wanted to go out.

Chloe is teething again and become super clingy to me, think the two must be connected. Her top two front teeth are just sat there under her gum giving her a bit of grief, hope its not long before they are through so she can feel a bit better and be her happy self again.

Hope your all okay :flower:

Oh and forgive me Chaos: :happydance: Congrat's on Autumns footsteps!

Afternoon all, tired today as Noah didnt sleep. woke at 12 just before I was off to bed so fed him went down but then was up nearly all night trying to shove both his fists in his mouth. He finally fell asleep after a BF and snuggled up in bed. Got him into his cot for a few hours.

Seen GP today had some bloods done and im on a course of tablets to control sickness, the doc said expecting my body to grow a baby and breast feed while not keeping food down is impossible. So hopefully these tablets will work. I go back on Tuesday to reassess.

oooh I missed this yesterday but Noah climbed onto the sofa from the floor. (why am I in bed when he does new stuff?)

Kte anything planned for Nij's B/Day?

Awh shame you missed him climing Maffie, sure he will want to show you his new trick soon. :flower:

Hope the tablets start to work and hope he sleeps better tonight, teething has a lot to answer for! :hugs:

Nij is working, couldn't get the day off or swap his shift, so we are going out Sat afternoon / evening to investigate some old war stuff, local land marks. Its his actual birthday on Sunday but that mean he gets to spend time with Chloe on the actual day too and Sundays shift starts later than usual so we get a decent ish Sat night if that makes sence! I'm a bit worried about the lack of presents, the downside to online ordering! :dohh: I really hope the postie has left somethig today or does they do tomorrow for me! Don't have much time for Chloe to make him a 'stop-gap' present if they don't show as my Mum is having her overnight tomorrow night so we don't have a curfew.

I just realised once Nij leaves for work Sun am I will be home alone for the first time in months! Eek!

Maffie- That sucks that you missed Noah climbing. Isaac always seems to do things when my grandparents are looking after him... I even missed the first time he properly crawled.

Anyone elses LO been obsessed with mirrors recently?

Yes Noah loves mirrors he flashes them big smiles then slaps his hands on them.

Neferet - Earl tries to give the mirror kisses- the floozy! lol

Chaos - congrats on the steps to Autumn, and I hope things come around soon. These things are snt to try us, and then Karma will repay the difference (You get the picture - my son is called Earl after all! lol)

Maffie - Sorry you missed Noah climbing. Earl looks like he's got a twitch at the moment trying to climb and he's always kicking his leg up! lol He has learnt how to get of the sofa - head first! - heart in my mouth every time! lol

Colsy - glad to hear it's all going well.

Kte - Hope you're ok after the funeral. :hugs: Chloe and Earl seem to deal with teething in the same way. Stick to Mum like glue! lol. Earl keeps crawling over to me, crawling up my legs and making his 'pick me up' sign. So cute but a little draining lol.

Hope we're all ok ladies :flower::hugs:

Nerefet: Chloe has a mirror in her nursery, its the wardrobe door that was in before we changed the room to her room. She waves to herself EVERY morning and when she goes to bed at night :haha:

Aimee: It was okay, as well as a funeral can go if that makes sense. He had been really ill for quite some time so it's nice he isn't suffering anymore although it's really sad to see him go. Oh yes! Crawling up the legs I get that too! I agree, its so cute yet tiring!

Well, my Mum and Dad have taken Chloe overnight, I feel quite lost! I can be me for a whole night and I don't have a clue what to do! :haha:

Hope your all having a nice weekend :flower:

 Hello quiet Bumpkins! Hope you all had a good weekend? :flower:

Well yesterday my laptop just gave me the black screen of death so not impressed. Nij is going to try and fix it today, hope he can as I will not be impressed if I have lots all my saved pictures and video's

Had a drama in the street yesterday, got a bang on the back door to be informed that a rat had run into our garden :nope: Joy. I saw the bloomin' thing in my washing shead last night. Rats as such doen't bother me but the diseases they can spread do so now I just want to make sure it has gone and disinfect the entier shead, it ran on the top of my washer over lots of stuff. Argh! I know I have 3 cats but I don't want them touching it either!

At least that lead us to finding Fluff, he escaped last week (last Sunday) and we hadn't seen him all week. Some other neighbours told us an old lady leaves out cat food (they were saying that's why the rats were there) and that she had a black and white cat she told them it was a stray. Nij went to see and it was our Fluffy, collar and name tag and everything! He is long haird and in lovely condition - stray my big behind! So glad to have him home now!

Chloe loved sleeping over at her Nanna and Grandad's, she was so exicited she fell asleep at 6pm! So glad she had a good time, I could tell she loved all the attention :cloud9:

We didn't do much for Nij's birhtday, I made some yummy coffee buns from a Hairy Biker's receipe and a cake from another receipe but that went wrong :dohh: The presents still haven't shown up yet! I just realised we forgot to eat the crispy buns Chloe made at nursery on Friday! A treat tonight yum yum!

Mornin' Girls.

Wows it's too freaking early .. gotta get up and go get in line early at the DMV to renew my drivers licence. Gah.

So I made a TTC journal. Figured it'd pass the time lol.

Kte ~ Hope he can fix the lappy.

As for the rat, they say out of sight out of mind .. they are in most places in peoples gardens. Where ever there are people there will be rats and mice, just seeing them freaks us out ;) You'll be fine, was properly just runnin thru. :hugs:

Afternoon all, im still sick as a dog but never mind on Saturday i'll be half way through the pregnancy :happydance:

Hmmmm buns I can eat cake and not be sick kte.

I got weighed this week and only 8lbs gained since my BFP and I seem to be shrinking on bum and thighs :happydance:

Noah took his first steps too and ive discovered he can climb anything and everything. He clambered over me and grabbed the curtain to swing off it :dohh: he's such a rough and tumble boy.

He's also lost interest in anything that doesn't look like proper food. I tend to keep the odd pouch in my bag in case we are caught out travelling or somewhere not baby friendly food wise and he just doesn't want it. His milk intake has dropped too, my little man is growing up.

Chaos: Off to stalk your journal :winkwink: True out of sight out of mind. A guy I used to work with specialised in rats, said people in the UK are usually no more then 10 meters away from a rat, it's just the thought of it crawling over everything! Like you say, if I never saw it I wouldn't know but those things can carry nasty diseases so I need to clean my hut otherwise the washing won't get done  :haha:

Maffie: I'll try and save some or bake some more and bring them on Sat, that will help your sugar levels on the way around! Congratualtions on Noah's first steps! :happydance: It is scary how quickly they are growing up!

What is everyone going to do about shoes? I'm kind of scared!

Noah has quite a few soft shoes already (he has some wicked giraffe ones) When he's on his feet i'll go to Clarks for measuring and get them fitted.

I got Autumn a pair of soft shoes at the weekend, it's actually aiding her walking really well. She's a freaking size 2.5!

Hello fellow bumpkins! =]

Duuuddee... this thread i so hard to keep track of lol!

Aww... such tiny feeties! <3

Maffie - Congrats on Noah's first steps!

She has 2 pairs of soft shoes from tesco's but I have yet to pop them on her and I have been eyeballing some cruisers on the clarks website just to start looking. I'm crying at the prices but want to get it right for her feet! I think I need to start introducing the ones she has soon a little each day so she is used to them on her feed as she loves to stand on the bus station chair so when she is even more mobile I can see her wanting to wander about more!

Me too, I flat out refuse to pay $15.00 for a pair of baby shoes that she is going to outgrow in 3 months.

Over here is a thing called consignment. Basically it happens twice a year. You get all your baby stuff (I'm consigning all Autumns new born stuff and baby toys this year), and take it to a big second hand kids sale. You get 70% of the sales, (Organizer gets 30% which she puts to charity)
Its where I get all Autumns clothes/shoes/toys from. This time I'll consign all her winter newborn stuff and I'll buy 12 to 18 month winter stuff and toys. I get stuff for a 1/4 of the price in the shops. The lady that organizes it is strict with qulity of stuff she accepts so it looks brand new.
For example, I got the shoes for $2. I got her jumparoo for $15.00 (normally $90 brand new), high chair for $18, normally $70 brand new)
The way I see it is, what is the point on wasting my money on brand new stuff when she out grows clothes in a month, she gets bored of toys in a month, you know?
