Hehehe on the wee front, I've started trying to get CC out of the nappies...

Boy can she hold on! 3 hours this morning no wee, then I put a nappy on and wee... Left her again after changing her; she proceeded to watch herself wee all over the carpet whilst being on her hands and knees... Thought it was funny... When I put her nappy on thinking she'd be ready for a nap she poo'd... LOL Then told me she "Stink!"

Guess I'm gonna have fun!?!?!

LOlL eswift! When are you due, hun?

Billy is walking more now after he just learned to walk about 15 months old not long ago but not strong enough, but now he is starting to walk more further and he loves it!!! I love it when my hubby hold him and tell him to walk over to Mummy (me) and he does walk all the way from him to me and hug me!

Now we are trying to teach him to sign "bird", but he does when he sees bird or duck on TV or outside! I'll try and video him when he is going to do it and you will understand what I mean! :D But its cute and funny to watch him sign. I taught him to say cat in sign (my sign was on my face with two hands pull away) but his sign for cat is that he put his both hands on his ears! LOL. Love it! A link to a page where you can see the lady sign "cat" on a video.https://www.britishsignlanguage.com/words/index.php?id=435

eswift - congratulations! I'm sure all will be well :hugs: I'm sure you can ask for an early scan because of the MMC. I was scanned 2 weekly from 6 weeks.

Nanaki - aww how cute that he signs. I started doing some signing with James....just more, please and thankyou, finished, milk, cat and rabbit. He doesnt sign back yet but I've not been doing it so much now cos he is talking a fair bit so can make himself understood perfectly clearly.

Well we are off to the zoo today. Its my birthday tomorrow but I'm starting nights so we are off today to have some birthday fun. Got to wait for the fireman to arrive to fit my baby gate first and then we are off. Meeting my cousin there too so will be lovely. Hope everyone has a good day.

Hiya everyone,

Eswift - congrats of the positive. Lots of hugs and PMA type things that it's all good.

Nanaki - Congrats on Billy walking. It's not long until running becomes the preferred method of travel lol. It's very cute when you an ask them to go to mummy/Daddy - Earl follows the dog aroundt trying to hug him! So Cute.

Re: Signing - I always toyed with the idea of signing with Earl but never got around to getting the books which I kind of regret now, but he's so good with his words I don't think it'll be to any detriment. Every single bird is a 'duck' with Earl thanks to his bath-time ducks lol.

Hope everyone else is good. Earl is at the CM today (weird to be the only one at home.....first time since Earl was born!) - I'm off to the Dr's in about half an hour, and then I'm at home this afternoon as I have yet another cold. I'm off tomorrow anyway (:happydance:) and so is Earl, so at least today I should be able to have some time to myself and get a bit of housework done before I pick Earl up at 4.

Have a good day ladies. got to go and call work.

Hiya Everyone

You may not remember me, but I was in the Bumpkins 09 thread with you all - now Im back WTT #2 - Can I join you? x

Congrats eswift! Wishing you a happy & healthy 9 months :flower: SO would this LO be a 2011 Bumpkin? :)

LK- Have fun at the zoo! Happy early birthday :flower:

Aimee- Hope you feel better soon :hugs:

Nanaki- Billy sounds cute with the signing :) We did a baby signing class last summer and managed to get "bird" signed to us once but Emma started talking around the same time and is more content saying "this!" than trying to sign back these days. My daycare munchkins all know "finished" though and use it pretty regularly

HoneySunshine :hi:

Not much going on here- fever broke, so I didn't take Emma to the docs yesterday. Emma and her friend were having a fun time playing outside yesterday and I made them a snowman- Emma decided to give it hugs and kisses which was pretty funny to watch. She has made friends with a little boy on the opposite side of our cul-de-sac (he's 18 months) so she went running down the driveway to see him and tripped and landed in a puddle of mud at the end of our driveway, scraping up her forehead and nose. Her nose was bleeding and she was covered in mud- poor kid!

Hope everyone is having a good day!

Nanaki: Do you watch / does Billy watch that programme . . hmm trying to think what it is called now! Mr Tumble :dohh:

Sorry ladies, keep trying to post but it's a madhouse here today! :flower:

Will be back!

Edit: Welcome back HoneySunshine :hi: and good luck TTC :flower:

Kaites: Poor Emma but nice she has made friends :flower:

Yes Kte! We always watch Mr Tumble, and the language he is using is makaton not British Sign Language but its basic and good for Billy. He started to sign when he reached age 1! lazy.

Found out that my appt for 12 weels scan is on 10th March at 9.20 and my son is allowed to come with us! Cant wait! Xxx

Well hello again everyone!

Back from the Dr's and I have been diagnosed with Grave's Disease (nothing serious, just putting a name to a symptom lol) which is linked to my thyroid. Apparently it makes your eyes protrude and look slightly off centre/different sizes - which they've been getting worse as I've always had wonky eyes but moreso recently). My dose has been upped to 150mcg daily - the Dr I saw I've never seen her before and it turns out that she has the same condition and is talking about sending me to a specialist as my dose shouldn't be that high as I didn't have an over-active thyroid before it went kaput! lol :dohh:

I also asked her to look in my ears and I have a blocked nasal duct which is causing my ear drums to retract so I've been given a nasal spray, and also I have glue ear in my left ear, which I may need a gromit.

My God! I really would love to be healthy you know! :dohh:

Kte - I'm not a big fan of mr Tumble......I absolutely HATE gigglebiz. It's so tacky and I don't know about anyone else but I find it totally inappropriate at time! Some of jokes Les Dawson would be proud of!

Kaites - Hope Emma's ok. Sounds cute trying to give the snowman hugs and kisses! Hope you're all well over in Canada!

Aimee: Eep that's a right list! Hope the meds make you feel better now and its good your getting looked at to sort it all :hugs:

I'm a NickJr watcher myself but know / have seen a few Mr Tumble episodes, I was just wondereding if it's any good for signers? I thought it was a good idea until I heard he did a crash course before the series and had never signed before that. The best CBeebies thing I like is the shapes of Mr Maker and they only last about 10 seconds so not worth watching really lol

Usual watches on NickJr are Peppa Pig, Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom, Team Umizoomy (sp lol), sometimes Dora but she can be annoying, Humf and occasionally Rory the Racing Car and Yo Gabba Gabba if it's on.

You lot need to watch out .. seems the Bumpkins have become an extra fertile lot .. that's 3 now who will end up with '11 Oct Bumpkins .. whos' next?? ;)

Thanks kte - It is a list and a half - I'll be a lit happier as I also had my smear test today. I have another blood test and a check up for my ears booked for 4 weeks time, and hopefully then we'll be good to go. We have to be a little cautious with TTCing with my dose still not stable. Apparently lack of Thyroxine can cause learning difficulties and I would hate to be responsible for that. :nope:

We watch Cbeebies (we only have freeview so only get 2 kiddies channels) although I do like Jim Jam and Sunny on Mini-CITV. Cbeebies has Nina and Neurons, ITNG, Waybuloo and Chuggington lol. Earl also like the hoobs, particularly the Motorettes!

I don't think I'm in this month (kind of glad about that given the Dr today lol).

Blimey - lots of lovely bumps and little babies. I was looking at pictures of Earl as a newborn the other night. Strange- I can't remember him being that small, let alone him not being here at all!

How are you hun?! xx

Well I can tell you it most certainly won't be me, unless we're reliving a certain few moments from the New Testament :dohh:

Hoobs are great, I remeber them from years ago! :haha: Me and my sister used to watch them when I stayed once a week - this was pre kids

Oo thats a bit unfair, hope its all sorted so you can TTC with peace of mind :hugs:

Chaos: Haha, be nice sharing it all again tho

Kte, you are right about Justin Fletcher did the crash course to learn sign, I prefer someone who sign better than him.

We usually watch Cbeebies as its the main channel we always watch! Billy loves the Shapes from Mr Maker also he started to like Thomas the Tank Engine that his Great Aunt got for him series 1-10. :)

Chaos, it will not be me anyway because I am due in Sept - I wish I am due in October but no thanks cuz myself and Billy has birthdays that month! Xxxx

Chaos - wont be me! Not only do I have an implant but it would have to be an immaculate conception!
