i hope everyone had a nice weekend. ours went by way too fast! it felt like i didnt even get to see OH even though he was here the entire time. too much family and running around.
on the bright side, today milo gave ava a kiss for the first time

How come the Uk celebrates Mother's Day at a completely different time of year to the rest of the world? Apparently it was mothering sunday not just in north america, but also, Australia & NZ, and some parts of Europe, and south Africa too?

I ate far too much dairy today, so my tummy is playing havoc My own fault, lol, but still!
Can't wait till hubby gets back from Malta tomorrow night... poor harry keeps asking 'Daddy Moon?' (Is daddy home soon?) & keep telling him 'Daddy'll be back tomorrow' & he kinda nods then says 'Daddy moro, daddy moro...' It's heart breaking now he realises when he's not home

Flora: Aww bless Harry. I think Chloe is used to Nij being away, as he is around at funny time, she is quite happy for me to say daddy is at work and leave it at that. Harry does sound good with his words! Hope your tum is feeling better

Well I got my blood test back today - the good news is they were both okay! The bad news is, I still feel like complete and utter crap. Huzzah! My Sister, my Mum and my work colleague have now all put it down to the fact I am a full time Mummy and a full time worker. I never have 'me' time, which is true but I can't see any light at the end of the tunnel. I can't reduce my hours unless I get a better wage (going to apply for that temp job btw as a secondment) and I can't have any me time activities as the ones I like are in the wrong time slots against Nij's work hours, on days I couldn't do or stupid time like until 10pm! Eh?! Plus the cost too or if those factors are met, they aren't something that I am interested in! So yeah money stifles me again, I could swear. I just feel like Nij doesn't get it either, the doc says I'm okay so I must be BUT IM NOT!!! He does help and do little things but I have to say, its not enough, he gets the afternoons to himself and his days off and I get bugger all

Anyway . . . back to this assignment!!

our mother's day was april 2nd this year.... It was end of March last year. it changes depending on when easter is. i think Father's day is usually around 7th june though?

I'm 5 weeks 1 days according to LMP & the test said 3+ weeks (ie more than 3 weeks) & that gives me an EDD of 8th Jan 2012! I was meant to wait until hubby got back from malta tonight, but i couldn't resist testing (since i'd already waited 5 days already!) so i had to call him instead. He's a mixture of emotions right now, but we're both thrilled. only concern (as ever, ha) is money, but other than that, yay!

so yep. woohoo!

Can i ask that no one mentions it on Facebook though, because our parents & family dont know yet & we want to wait till after the 12 week scan to properly announce it, same as last time. Ta!

Oh and Kte, i'm really bad the tests came back ok, but hun, seriously, you need some 'me' time... Could you get someone to look after Chloe for a few hours one evening so you can chill, sleep, eat, swim, go to the cinema (i dont know what you're into, lol) or something? Do you take a multi-vitamin at all?

Kte - I'm glad the tests came back ok but it sucks that they couldn't find anything. I take a vit b12 supplement to keep my energy levels up and it seems to do the trick - not sure if you could add anything like that? Try to just take some quiet time to yourself to recharge you batteries.

Hope everyone is ok. I'm ok- just a bit shattered after having gone back to work after barely being there for 3 weeks Day off tomorrow and we're off to collect our stuff from MILs. only taken us 5 months lol

Kte- Isn't there any way you could have a few hours in the evening to pamper yourself? If your not happy still about the tests go back to the GP, are you on iron? I take spatone which is better than taking iron tabs and feel so much better since started taking it.

Not been around much don't know where I am some days to be honest with everything, still working through alot of things with Uni etc and then day to day things. I'm thinking going away end may just feel like I need to get away from here, I love my house and having my parents next door but hate the area (the area I grew up in) it's changed so much into a nasty horrible place.
Adi isn't too good, not eating and sleeping i'm sure it's because of his back teeth coming through.

oh, just added a pic of harry with my MIL & his daddy when he went riding for the first time a couple of weeks back & the other is Harry in his darth vader costume, with his friend Seren (hubby's boss's youngest) as an Ewok. So cute!

No tablets but I have started to make a point of eating more healthily which has helped a teeny bit but I am only on day 3 as well so I don't expect to be leaping and bounding that quickly I think give it a settle in period and add some multi-vitamins in the mix as well. I have taken those in the past and never felt any different though but then, that was the past and my diet.

I will pop back properly, just got to focus on this final assignment, invigilation makes your brain complete mush. Just got my marketing assignment back . . . 62. Not happy, its okay but I needed better. I needed a 69. Its not been moderated and no feedback so hopefully I can figure out whats happened since the last two were in the 70's. If its the tutor being a tough marker he'd best stay in China or suffer the wrath of me on his return!!!!!!
