Hope everything went well with the jabs Aimee :flower: Aww and hope Earl is feeling better!

Its weird where Chloe is too, she won't move up to Pre-School until she is 3 in her nursery but some of her friends have just moved up (well, technically they are still in teh same room but the pre-schoolers get to go down to the dining room to eat in the morning and a few other different things) and Chloe is left which the over 2's that have just moved up, so looks so grown up bless her!

I love portrait time!

LittleMinx ~ congrats on your decision, well, kind of decision, good luck which whatever you decide :flower:

Jabs went ok - poor little mite is suffering though as it's given him a temp. Calpol shall fix all though! lol

Cheekily asked to get him weighed while there. Still fully clothes he weighed 9.7kg! That's over 21lbs!!! no wonder my arms hurt lol. :haha:

Off to go visit my Mum tomorrow provided the car is ok. Got a 4 hour drive up to Thorton. Never been to my Mum's before (she's moved house since we last visited) so I'm sure it will be a stressful friday! :dohh: Earl has school although he may only do a half day due to the trip - we will have to see.

Scan went well, baby was a little wriggle bum, keeps turning over and stretching!

Wow Aimee, Edward is pretty much the same weight as J and he's nearly 21 months

Hi girls,... how are we all?

I have a new ticker  Scared, but very excited too.

x

Aimee- hope he's feeling better. 21 lbs?! That's 2 lbs heavier than Ava! Lol.

Kte- glad to hear the scan went well :hugs:

Littleminx- good luck TTC! :flower:

Milo is talking more now! He says colors and numbers :happydance: can't believe he starts school in a month  why do they have to grow up?!

Minx - good luck. I think hubby and I are pretty much agreed that we'll try for 1 more  Scary biscuits! I hope it goes smoothly for you xx

Eddy is a lump! I've had to get the 9-12m clothes down out of the loft ready as the 6-9s are getting snug - especially the vests and t-shirts. He's started solids now and is taking to it really well. Much better than Earl did and he was a foody lol. I think BLW may be a struggle with Eddy though. Earl was happy to play with his food, whereas Eddy just wants to eat. He can already grab well enough to feed himself some finger foods, but he gets really annoyed at it, and ends up distraught. This spoon feeding for the time being may be the better option. He seems to love fruits and porridge lol (don't we all lol).

He's currently asleep. I don't know what happened last night but it was a nightmare all round. Boys both fell asleep on the sofa 5.30-6 so when 6 came along they just didn't want to have baths/do bedtime. I stuck to routine but took my time and they were both in bed by 7.30 but neither would sleep. Earl eventually fell asleep at 9.30!! Eddy was wide awake, needed an extra bottle and a nappy change and eventually passed out at 10pm! Earl was then up twice in the night for toilets and nightmares, and then they were both up at 6.30 thanks to hubby's alarm (first day back at Uni for him today ). I'm cream crackered, Earl wants to just sit and watch pixar films and Eddy was back asleep by 8.30 and is still down! I think I ought to go and drink my tea while I have the chance lol. :coffee:

Wow Aimee, they sound really out of sorts, Ill boys perhaps? :hugs: How long does your hubby have left at uni now?

littleminx congrats on Ttc :dust:

I have no idea how you ladies can keep on doing it! In the nicest possible way I mean of course, to be honest, I always imagined three kids but after I had Chloe I am totally freaked out and the thought of having to give birth again is really scaring me, something I know I have to get over!! I love Chloe so much and she is worth it but with hers I was so calm I think it helped, having a few probs during her really put me off. I thank my lucky stars it all went well in the end. We did say we would wait until she was older before we tried again but I was quite happy to leave it a little longer, I don't know why, I guess I'm just scared, I know too much this time around and have her to worry about as well

Milos mummy : well done milo! It's amazing how he is coming along now :flower:

Oh I need to get off of my butt and do something productive, when I try stuff goes wrong. I'm no good at being ill! I'm feeling much better but still not 100% I get out of breth walking up the stairs! :dohh:

I need to plan activities and find clubs for when I'm on maternity leave or i know I'm going house crazy!

Kte - I have been off since Feb and aside from Earl's pre-school I've done nothing. I've been too busy lol. Granted I've had hubby at home so he's kept me busy too.:haha:

As for labour - I was scared witless, but as the pregnancy went on I got more used to the idea that I would have to do it again. The whole 'I've done it before' thing kicked in and I got more confident that my body would cope. It did a lot better than with Earl lol. My advice would be to speak to your midwife about your options and your anxieties, and they will be able to help you.

I confess that doing it again (the labour and the pregnancy as a whole) is daunting. I didn't enjoy my pregnancy with Eddy due to the stresses with my health, work, childcare, and that's why we're umming and ahhhing about when to try again. We would really like to have 3 children but if it doesn't happen by the time I'm 32, then it wont be happening at all! lol

Milo's Mummy - glad to hear he's doing so well too. I know what you mean about school. I know Earl goes to pre-school but it's only 1 day per week and the thought of him having to go full time is not a nice one. Still, 2 years til that's compulsory.....a long time really!

Edit : Oh and Hubby has goe 2 more years at Uni then his teacher training.

Gosh all this baby talk is making me so broody. Think i'll be hanging my ovaries up though as I know my partner isnt interested in more.

In the states, preschool is actual schooling  milo will be in school mon-thur from 9am-12:15. He'll do that until he turns 5 and goes full days. So sad to see our babies growing up!

I know OH wants more kids. And I know I want another. Just unsure if its the right thing for us  pregnancy is really hard on my body. If we don't decide to try in the next two years, it probably won't happen for us either :nope:

I think that may be why I'm freaking, yes I have done it before but, I haven't really got a clue what it's like! I just got to the pushing stage when Chloe got stuck, I blanked out what happened in the middle after being forced to push for hours and hours and ended up in theatre with a spinal. So I was numb waist down and so i still don't actually know how it felt. It didn't help that just before I was about to push, before all that happened, the trainee midwife was saying its going to burn etc. . . I knew this before about what to expect feeling wise but she put the fear in me for some reason, i know she was only trying to help but wrong timing! it took me out of my awesome 70s kalidoscope zone I was in and :haha: like you say though, at least my body knows what it's on about more this time so hopefully that will help! I'll defo be chatting to my midwife about it :)

Milosmummy: my sister is the same, she would love more kids but she was so bad during her pregnancy she's really worried if the same happened she wouldn't be fit to look after her current lo.

Kte- with milo I had an epidural and pushed for an hour. Causing a hernia in my lower left abdomen. I also had hyperemesis with milo pretty bad. But I still went ahead with a second. It was different in so many ways. I was so sick I did have trouble keeping after milo for the first trimester. Luckily I had some help. I opted for th epidural again with Ava (even though I wanted to go natural). But it failed and I still felt everything. And honestly, it didn't hurt all at that much when it came to pushing  I think since I could feel, I had more effective pushes and I only pushed for about 4-7mins before she was out :hugs:
it's the third baby that really has me scared! :haha: not sure I could keep after milo and Ava if I'm sick :nope:

Evening all, well N is poorly. Its thrown me as he's never the poorly one. Doctor thinks its a virus but he's stopped eating and has quite high ketones in his urine. We measured how much pee he has done as it was so little and not even 50ml in the last 24 hours :( if he doesnt pick up over the next day or 2 I have to call emergency doctor but if the urine totally stops I have to phone docs tomorrow.

He's eating and drinking a little. Think feeling poorly threw him too. We went to the bank yesterday and when I was sat with my bank manager he lifted his top and said still hurts :haha: he thought the bank manager was another doctor.
