JO - DS had a rather flat head when he was a babe, rounded off now though; I think it caused by them spending so much time on their back and their heads being so soft...

Florabean - Fantastic news on the house front! Congratulations...

Maffie - Have a great Christmas and safe journey...

Aimee-Lou - Love the snow picture, we've had so much snow here too... Took Tyke out this morning, all crisp and crunchy under foot; thank goodness. Otherwise I'd have been flat on my backside... DS is fed up of the snow now as its been icey since they broke up on Friday, no good for making snow men apparently...

We're doing the Christmas present meet today, after loosing OH for since he finished work Friday; he's been running his sister and Mum around for the past 2 days. I've had to dig and move everything about on my own, whilst making sure CC is fed, changed and cuddled. Talk about being peeved... I keep bursting into tears, I'm so tired and fed up with doing everything on my own... It's just been a right rough time since CC was 3 weeks old... I'm not depressed just buggered!

All my family are coming Christmas day, MIL & SIL are off to BIL - so 2 less to feed here now... (They're now coming for New Years Day...) I've the kitchen left to do, bathroom, ironing and front bedroom... Shouldn't take too long, hopefully!

CC is not sleeping through, her last feed is at 12/1am; next at 3/4 and then 6/7 ish; she's growing well though... Took her to the clinic yesterday 8 weeks old now, Check up & jabs not until 30th... So did weight, height and head yesterday... She's now 11.5lb, 58.5cm & 39cm so she's following 75th percentile...

She truely is chunky... We packed up all her newborn stuff (I'm sure she's not worn some of it, oh well); not gonna be long until we've to do the same with the 0-3 months stuff... Hope santa brings her plenty of 3-6 month stuff, otherwise she got 1 pink babygrow and no vests... LOL I can't even go shopping in January as OH isn't gettingpaid until Feb... (bloody monthly wages!?!? And new job... Just wait until Feb...)

Anyway, enough of me moaning... Have a great day all... Gonna go get CC up, need to go veg shopping before we head off to MIL to collect my cuttlery and presents to do santa meet... Told ya, I could have done with Christmas being 6 months away...

Hope ou get everything sorted Emily. Noah just wanted to eat last night. It was a bit of a shock to my system has he had been sleeping so well.

OH came in with a 'joint' present for us yesterday. He's so excited just wish I culd muster some enthusiasm up. He wanted me to have the pressie (he's hopeless at surprises) but I said no.

I need to get all the clothes for Christmas washed today and might venture into the city for a few bits, if im crazy enough.

Morning girls. Me and James are up nice and early this morning cos we are off to Bristol today. OH had to go into work today cos he had yesterday off so mum is now going to pick us up at about 3.30pm. Luckily I spent most of yesterday afternoon doing the house so it would be nice when I get back. Cleaned our room, the ensuite, put away all of the washing, washed some of James's clothes and our towels, got OH to take out the boxes from our christmas, tidied the living room, did some dishes, tidied the boys room, hoovered throughout and washed the kitchen floor. Now just got to finish the dishes and rehoover the living room cos OH got black sock fluff everywhere grr! James is all happy and smily this morning and hasn't even demanded a feed yet but he did feed at 4.30am so I'm not concerned lol. He's sat in his chair laughing cos mummy is keeping up a running commentary of what we have to do today whilst writing this lol. Oh I'm getting so good at multitasking lol. Hope everyone has a good day and if I don't manage to get on before, then a very happy 1st christmas to all the bumpkins and their babes. Lots of love from us x

Morning all, just!

Well been to the docs and got some more meds to here is hoping! I am loaded up on then and hoping the loo trip this eve will not be as bad as anticipated! Chloe has been so good this morning to say I had to rush about to get to the appointment at 10:30, she was all giggily and quite happy to go in her swing chair and even let me was and dery my hair! Such a contrast to how she was yesterday!

Got my mum over soon for a present swap, I need to tidy up but I feel jiggered. I felt so awful yesterday it just wore me out. Feel bad in comparison so what some of you ladies have been up to and had to put up with.

I put Chloe in a 3-6 month baby grow yesterday, I thought it would hang off her but it didn't! So she is in 3-6 month dungerees today. I don't know why but I am shocked they fit her! Some of her 0-3 still fits but I doubt for very much longer. I wish I could buy some of her tops etc in the next size up, they are too cute to not be worn again!

Anyway I still have a profile on there and use it to meet new friends in the area and it clearly states on there that I am living with my fiance and our baby. Anyway I went and had a look at OH's profile just cos it was in my favourites...and he has himself as single and looking for intimate encounters! He can't say that he hasn't updated it since we got together cos he has updated his home and his picture and when we met he had looking for dating. I feel physically sick. Just don't know what to do!!

Ladies, I've just had a fun half hour out in the garden with Earl and the dog. Earl's bumbo arrived (shocked as I had kind of resigned it to the new year lol) so I popped him into his snowsuit as I know that his head is more supported in it, and took him out into the garden with the camera- I was desperate to get some pics of him in the snow to prove we had snow his first christmas lol.

Hubby should be home in about an hour so that's when our Christmas starts He's bringing home pate, cheeses, pork pie and lots of fresh bread rolls (our traditional fayre over christmas lol) for our tea, and I can't wait as I've not had any since January! lol

Kte - Earl is well into his 3-6's and I had to pack away a whole load more of his 0-3's this morning. This time though it was t-shirts, jeans etc, all of which were large on him before, even when he was in 3-6 grows, so I think we've grown a bit more - his 3-6's are fitting perfect now, which means in a week or two they wont! lol

Here are the photo's - I'm not good with a camera but even I think these are good lol. I wont be on much over the Christmas so I hope we all have an Ab Fab Christmas, enjoy every minute ladies!! xx

we've got the plasterers coming in on boxing day- new years, so between now & then, we have to rip the skirting boards & coving off the walls in all the rooms in the new house. Fun! I kinda like destroying things in order to make them better, iykwim?

Harry's had a poorly tummy the last 2 days (yesterday & today) but seems pretty happy today. He's been kicking about in his chair now for over half an hour with a weird grin on his face like he's plotting something evil

We got all our xmas food chopping last night too. God I hate being in shops at xmas!!!! I cant believe how busy everything gets for the sake of 1 or 2 days. Ah well. We managed to get everything, so that's a bonus.

Gotta go, little man is pooing..... AGAIN!

Well I may be on over Christmas, OH onlt has 3 days off, he is working tomorrow then that is it for a few days, then its practically back to the norm. OH is even working New Years eve and new years day so no celebrations there, he will be in bed for 6! lol

I'll be popping on this place keeps me sane, OH wasn't happy with me today I was struggling to calm Noah and tried a dummy. He is totally against them. To be honest it was a last resort as I was one very stressed and unhappy mummy. He sucked on it calmed down spat it out and fell asleep.

I just managed to get a bargain swing for him so im well chuffed, im hoping I can collect it soon

aww, maffie, that kinda sounds like what Harry does; he sucks for a couple of minutes (altho I usually have to hold it in & stroke his cheeks) then spits it out & either a) screams even more r b) falls alseep. I use it mainly so I can go pee without his yelling the place down, lol. So cant wait to be out of our flat coz then I dont have to worry quite so much about Harry crying- right now, i worry what the neighbour think, so I cant leave him to cry or see if he will self soothe or anything... at least once we're in the house, I dont have to worry so much & can throw the dummy away. My OH's mum is completely against them & told me I was a failure for letting him have one!!!!!!

I'll pop online during the xmas period- it's what keeps me occupied when I'm feeding harry on the sofa & typing one handed on the netbook, lol!

But for those of you who wont, MERRY CHRISTMAS & all the very best for 2010 & beyond.

I've tried doing everything OH's way, he has 2 children so listened to what he thought, but after listening to Noah scream for hours I feel like I want to do things my way and if that means tougher times as a toddler so be it. He's just a little baby and OH keep saying leave him im even doubting myself when I feed him. I mean Noah has fed every 2 hours the last day and I think he's having a growth spurt, listening to OH I started doubting which was a hungry cry

I dont want to raise him by a clock I want to be there on demand.

Maffie : sorry to sound rude or blunt but sod what you OH says! Do what you feel best for you and Noah. I know Noah is his baby too but I strongly believe every baby is different so it doesn't matter what was and was not done to his other children. Your emotions are important for Noah too, don't doubt yourself. I often get other people teling me Chloe wants this or that when I know different. My Aunt and my Cousin just had babies and we all do things differently. Its good to have other knowledge of things but you don't have to do exactly what others do or have done. We as bumpkins surely do a few things differently but it doesn't mean it is wrong. I just want to give you a big please don't doubt yourself and don't let your OH make you feel bad. Its not like the first thing you did was plonk the dummy in his mouth, it was a last resort and sometimes dummies are a godsend! I find they are brill if Chloe has tummy ache as she likes to suck but if she had a bottle she could be sick! You spend most time with Noah so you will know him better than anyone else. Remember, just becasue it's different doesn't mean it wrong!
