Good morning ladies!
Hope everyone is well

Nothing too exciting going on here. We finished our last baby signing class yesterday so we're all done this round of baby classes. I probably won't bother enrolling us in anything else this summer though. Emma has finally learned how to do a proper forward crawl. She's been on the verge for almost a month, but finally put down her toys, freed up her hands and started to crawl the other day. Until now she's always attempted while holding onto blocks and other toys, making it unsuccessful, lol

She's started doing this annoying head-butt though-whenever I'm trying to prepare a meal and she wants to be picked up, she'll crawl up to my legs and head butt me until I finally pick her up. She's also still pulling herself up to standing on everything except the bars of the crib

Right now she's trying to figure out how to crawl up the steps to our sunken livingroom.
I think for the rest of the week, I'm starting to get stuff ready for a long weekend of camping. I figure it'll take me all week to find everything we need and get organized

My parents have a trailer (caravan) that they keep at a park a few hours away and use it like a summer cottage. We're bringing a tent to the park and are going to ease ourselves into camping by keeping them close by, lol. I figure if we forget anything, as long as it isn't baby related, there is a good chance they can lend it to us. I'm looking forward to camping there though- I grew up spending my summers there and a lot of the families of the kids I grew up with are still there, and they are kinda like extended family. One of the other girls had a baby in October too so it could be fun if they are there.
What are everyone's babies' favourite toys atm? Just looking for more toy ideas for Emma. Right now she loves her blocks, all animals (bath toys and stuffed ones), her Fisher Price Little People school set and her xylophone. I noticed that she is using the blocks like little cars, pushing them along the floor so I suggested to hubby that she might like a toy car

He seemed excited at the prospect of buying a boy's toy.
Aimee- hope the final stages of your move go smoothly. We moved in the winter and had to deal with snowy feet tracking dirt into the house but summer doesn't sound any better. I think moving sucks no matter what time of year, lol
Chaos- hope Autumn's bum is healing and your MS isn't too bad
LK- good luck with your move!
Flora- Yikes- that must have been scary! Hope Harry's cold clears quickly

We've been keeping the AC on so the house is cooler for Emma and we've got a finished basement so we spend time down there playing since it's always cooler than the rest of the house. It's funny that so many of the bumpkin babies are in the hottest rooms of their houses. Emma's room is always the hottest too.
Maffie- glad to hear your scan went well

I'm intrigued re: the big move- move to Canada and Noah and Emma can meet, lol
Kte- Hope Chloe sleeps through for you again- must have been nice for a couple nights!
Colsy- saw your post in the BFing section- hope Monty gives up his strike soon
Sam- hope being back to work is going smoothly
Bingers- hope your work meeting goes well!
Sorry if I missed anyone! Time for my second cup of coffee...
