Hey all, hope all bumpkins and mummys are ok!

Just wondering how many bottles our babies are having now, is it to early to be dropping down to 2 bottles or shud I just follow theos lead? This is all new to me as grace went completely off her milk at 10 months old and struggled to get one bottle of milk into her!!

We've moved Theo into graces room today!! Eeeek, it's goin to be so strange not having him next to our bed, but yay for being able to watch tellie in bed again! Lol

As for me, I start college in 3 weeks time :D really excited, how sad! Lol.... So I have a nice 2 weeks off work now with the children then a week of induction to the college then back to the student life, kind of!

Hope all is we'll with you all, anyone else expecting? Can't believe some of the bumpkins are attempting to walk, my little man loves crawling too much, he just drops to his knees hehe, lazy monkey!!

X

Missy is down to 2 or 3 bottles a day. About 5oz with breakfast/lunch and 6oz before bed. She eats mostly solid food as of now.

Chloe has 3 bottles a day, occasionally 2. I would type more but evey time I try and come on something else happenes . . . .madam has just done a stinker :dohh: Off to clean her spotty botty!

(MAffie - looks like you picked a good day to go the the seasinde :D)

Awww poor Chloe, hope she isn't suffering with the pox too much!! X

Evening all, gosh it was so hot today, I wore jeans (silly me) Noah is up and full of beans he had a donkey ride then played on the beach. Only been home a short while. I'll stick pics on FB hopefully later.

Noah is down to 2-3 feeds a day and sometimes as a night feed, he mainly wants proper food though so might take a quick 2-3 minute boobie snack but I think thats when he's thirsty. He usually just wants his cup with water in. Milk only ups when he refuses food when teeth cut through.

Mellie college sounds exciting, what are you studying?

My feet are so swollen from walking :dohh:

Well done to Noah & Isaac :)

I hope Chloe's chicken pox clears up quickly & she doesn't feel too itchy & scratchy. :hugs:

I've had a weird, but good weekend. Got lots done round the house & had some good chats with OH like the old times, so that was nice too :)

Also, when you lot got your first AF's after pregnancy, what were they like? Sorry! It's just that what I think was my period last week was basically just spotting that lasted barely 2 days... Just not sure if that was actually a period or whether my insides are just messed up? lol (sprry if that's tmi?)

Also, I think I'm FINALLY starting to get some sex drive back... Bout blimmin time, lol! :dohh:

Mellie- Isaac's down to about 3 feeds a day.

Maffie- The beach sounds fun... especially donkey rides! =]

Kte- How's Chloe's chickenpox? Is it getting any better?

Flora- My first AF after pregnancy was normal bleeding-wise, but it hurt like a bitch!

I'm gonna be studying an access course to health professionals! I want to be a midwife :D hopefully going to uni next September!! Excited but scared at the same time...ready for it though!

oooh I miss studying. Im thinking of going back to uni next year to do a masters.

Ugh feel like I have a newborn again! Up every other hour last night and on call every min of every day. She is in the jumperoo doped up on baby paracetamol from the doc! Can't leave her in it too long otherwise she gets too hot and itchy. Thankfully they are scabbing over now so maybe in the next few days that's it!

Mellie: Thanks, happy belated 10 months to Theo! :flower:

Flora: I can't really remember, I bled quite a lot post partum, took forever to stop! Think it was 9 weeks as I found it ironic I had caught up with my 9 months of missed periods :haha: I'm sure it was a normal / heavy bleed, not just spotting :flower:

How is everyone? Can anyone remember is Kaites was off for a bit? Can only remember Colsy and Flora being away  Hope your okay mystery ladies! :hugs:

Maffie: Sounded like fun!

Best go, getting screamed at again

I'm still here- just had to force myself to work on the daycare stuff before allowing myself to procrastinate on BnB  I've been trying to keep up with everything but haven't had a chance to say hello or reply to posts- hope everyone is well :hugs: I got all the paperwork turned into the licensing agency today :happydance: I am still having issues with the home insurance company setting up an endorsement on our policy for liability coverage for the daycare, but hopefully that can be worked out. I also set up an ad on a daycare providers network-type of website over the weekend (I did that as a stop-gap in case the licensing agency takes a while processing my paperwork- this way I may have some clients by the time mat leave ends) and have already had one response  It might not lead anywhere, but it did feel nice to see that there is interest. I still have a bit of work left to do but I'm in much better shape than I was a couple weeks ago.

Other than the daycare stuff, Emma and I have been busy getting out more- hubby has a work van that he can take home every night now so I have our family car full-time which has been nice... although i do seem to be spending more money now  :haha: We also took a road trip with my parents last week to Toronto to visit my grandmother. She's back from the brink of death (sounds dramatic but she was so sick that funeral plans were being made last month) and although not in great shape, she was able to enjoy Emma's visit, which was really special for us. Emma is on the brink of walking- I can see that she's about to attempt it, but keeps chickening out :) Instead, she is obsessed with climbing the stairs- we've had to put up gates but I let her practise under Mummy's supervision. She's also talking a bit now- her rubber duck is the subject of most of her ramblings and she has developed the annoying habit of asking for Daddy when eating breakfast (means she doesn't eat much brekkie when daddy isn't around :dohh:). Anyway, enough of ramblings from me :)

Kte- Hope Chloe is feeling okay :hugs: Must be hard seeing her so uncomfortable!

Flora- yay for the return of the sex drive! lol :) Still no AF here (am I really the last to still have AF awol? i guess there have to be some perks to Emma still not sleeping through) so can't comment on the first yet. I did read that some women have an anovulatory first AF as a bit of a "warning period"- maybe that's what's going on? I love your avatar of Harry :)

Maffie- Happy belated 10 mths to Noah and happy halfway point too! When is your 20 week scan? Hope baby cooperates if you are hoping to find out the sex :)

Mellie- enjoy your little break before school starts!

Anyway, I better get going- time to start cooking some dinner... Hope everyone is well and :hugs: to those that need them!

Morning all

Good to hear from you Kaites, got my scan on Thursday this week. Its funny Emma is chickening out of the walking but doing the stairs,

Well Noah had his first haircut, it was getting so long he was really well behaved.

Morning all :flower:

Kaites: Glad to hear the wheels are in motion for the daycare and you have interest already :D  Sorry to hear about your grandmother but glad she is hanging on in there and you got to go see her. :hugs: Well done on Emma on the stairs!

Maffie: Where / how did you get his hair cut? Hope you get to see the sex on Thursday!

I am in work today, Nij is on duty today. Chloe seems more perkier in herself, she slept all the way through last night, no hopping in and out of beds so hopefully she is on the mend. Still need a few more spots to scab over!

Best go and get on with some jobs. :hugs:

Kte one of mum's friends her grandaughter is a hairdresser (well a stylist as they like to be known) I asked to go to mum's friends as thought a salon would be too noisey and distracting. He just sat on my knee. She said he's the first baby she's cut that hasn't cried.

Im nervous about the scan

How's Chloe's spots doing?

Maffie- That's exciting that you have your scan on Thursday. I hope everything goes well :hugs:

Kte- glad to hear Chloe's on the mend- hope the spots scab over quickly!

Hubby has the day off and I can hear him teaching Emma to say "uh oh!" in the other room  It's pretty cute atm but I can see that he'll regret teaching her that :haha: Today we are tackling the garden- the grass needs mowing, the gardens need cutting back and the eavestroughs (sp?) need cleaning out. Looks like hubby will be busy :haha: I also need to finish off my policies for the daycare since I'm meeting with a woman tomorrow about possibly caring for her kid (part-time- not too sure I like that idea).

Anywayy, better get back to playtime in the other room :) Hope everyone is having a good day!

Maffie: Wish I knew someone like that! Not that Chloe needs a hair cut, need to find myself a mobile hair dresser (oops 'stylist')! Glad Noah enjoyed it and didn't cry  I can imagine at a salon there would be so much going on to distract him! How come your nervous? :hugs:

They are much better, well, more scabby, there are only a few tiny ones and I am hoping today / tonight they scab so she can go back to nursery. She does look a red blotchy state though :nope: Her scratch healed pretty quickly though so I hope the spots do too :D

Kaites: Nij shouts at Chloe but its kind of in a playful way and she just laughts at him, I keep thinking one day he will try to tell her off and she is just going to laugh right back at him  Good luck with the meeting tomorrow, shame its P/T but must be a start at least? :flower:

OMG, how much have I missed from being away? Chickenpox, sex drives, dodgy AFs, job interviews, college courses, the list goes on. Amazing how much we (you) can talk in just ten days! I am on here VERY briefly while OH changes Monty's third pooey nappy of the day!!! Had a good time away down south visiting fam and friends. We have moved forward on the sleep front, but not in the most conventional way. Will update when get a chance, but for now I just wanted to say hi to you all and to say I'l be back on again when I get a proper chance in the next two or three days. Lots of love xxx

:hi: colsy nice to see you pop in glad you had a nice time away.

Kte not sure why im nervous just my normal worry about baby being healthy i guess.

Maffie: Don't think I wished Noah a Happy 10 months?!!! Congrats! Yeah, I can remember the excitement and nerves still, I'm sure everything will be fine :hugs:

Colsy  Glad you had a good time :D
