Bumps2be2011

No charlotte, you're not the only one.

My labour and delivery was long, Earl was bigger than expected, but I stil did it without anything more than G&A and aromatherapy, and while at the time I was 'NEVER AGAIN!!' lol, I want to do it the same way. However, we're moving, and I had small complications post birth, so I don't think I'll be able to go to a birth centre, and I'm worried that my birth experience will be bad as my last one was so good.

I know...8 months....eeek it's going too quickly! It's nearly Easter and that's bad enough!! It's our 2nd wedding anniversary on the 12th of April...I can't believe how much has gone on since then!! We're off to hubby's favourite restaurant (I'll eat anything lol) and we're taking Earl. It's an american style grill restaurant and the food is brill. We went for my birthday last year and we got a free birthday cake!

Everytime we go back to Wales we go to Franky and Benny's....OMG the food is lush. I wish there was one closer by than Southampton. lol I'm hungry now. lol

It's our 2nd anniversary tomorrow and I don't think we gonna do anything tbh. Argh. Stupid money. lol

Happy anniversary welshwarriors for tomorrow

I too had an easy pregnancy and a good birth experience proberly one of the reasons I'm eager to do it again  but do sometimes worry that the next won't be as good! So rest assured it's perfectly normal

im scared for 2nd lo. i had caleb early due to pe and high bp and im dreading this time around. I dont want to have to have a c-section if i can help it. im just scared i will spend my next time in hopsital earlier and i hate waiting especially if you cant do anything.:nope:
Aimee- im looking for a job in a couple of months. maternity pay ends july and ive been out of work since last july. i think im just going part time , enough to cover my side of bills but im worried when i get pregnant half way through i will have to stop if my bp creeps up again. What are you looking to do for a job? x
Maybe i will be fine next time around but if you have a first bad experience you worry the next.
we did our shopping at 8am and done for 9 back home.

Ye the sun is out which makes you happy.:flower:
hope everyone is having a great day and hope you have a good day tomorrow anna.:hugs:

Hullo ladies!

I'd love to join you all - I'm Holly, 27 and my husband and I are waiting until April 2011 when I will finally finish my degree to start trying for our first.

We have been married since last August and together for 3 years. Were both really looking forward to TTC, and we are aiming for 2 possibly 3 kids. Up until now I have been quite patient but suddenly I have become super broody (I think because a few close friends are pregnant) and I'm finding it really frustrating to wait!

Welcome Holly! I'm also 27 and finishing up my degree, so I can sympathize. I think 2-3 is a good number too. I know what you mean about seeing everyone else start families of their own-suddenly you feel so old and behind the times...or at least I do.

Hang in there-2011 won't be far away!

Charlotte - I have been off since last May as I was bullied at work so got signed off with stress. My mat pay stops at the end of May, so I'll have been away for a year!! I work in Museums/tourism so I'm hoping for something like that, but will happily just do office/amin type stuff to pay the bills. Lord, Id scrub toilets to make sure Earl had what he needed!! (WOuld rather not though lol) What line of work are you in?

Aw bullying is horrible, been there enough times! Sorry to hear that! I work for the NHS as a porter, it's quite good fun, pays the bills I guess! Some parts of the job are better than others! Lol!

Seems like a lot of people on here are studying for degrees! I'd love to be in your shoes! Had the oppitunities I've got the grades but I was bullied in college and dropped out! So what are you all doing degrees in? I'd love to do midwifery or business management! Two vastly different things but now i'm in work I just don't have the money to even think about it!

Welcome Holly, added you to our WTT list in the 1st post.

I guess I'm pretty lucky that I can be a housewifey and full time Mummy. Hubby's pay isn't the world bt we just pay a bit over £100 rent for a 3 bedroom flat cause it's Army which helps. I want to go back to work when LO #2 is in nursery (not private just a normal school nursery). I grew up more or less at my gran's house, which kinda fun but I did miss my parents. My mum went back to work after 6 months maternity leave and she said if she could do it all over again she would have stayed with me home for a bit longer. I just enjoy the freedom at the moment, so call my mum and say me and Joe are coming over for a couple of weeks book me a flight. lol I won't be able to do that once Joe goes to school.
Hopefully until #2 comes around hubby will have worked his way up the army career ladder a bit and gets paid a bit more. Or I just have to send him back to Afghan to affort all the pretty little things for baby #2.

Hello! Stick me down for TTC in September 2011! Looks like I'm the only one for that particular month so hope some of you lovely ladies will keep me company!

I'm Angela, I have a little boy called Ethan who will be 1 at the end of May. Hubby is studying his PGCE and should finish in June 2011, and the hope is he will start a teaching job in the September so that is why we are waiting till then! Hope to get to know some of you during our wait!

xxx
