Call learndirect or go on their website. They're really good at helping to get the steps in the right order (my hubby is starting a degree in September and it all started with a visit to their website 12 months ago.

Good on you for wanting to be a social worker...I definitely couldn't handle it. :flower:

Afternoon! Happy anniversary anna! Hope you have had a nice day! What's everyone doing this fine Sunday? I'm stuck at work on a 12 hour shift! My pedometer says I've walked 8 miles so far today! That's pretty good going!
Finish today and then off for the week woo hoo! :) could do with a rest! Only one problem, I actually don't know what on earth to do with myself!

Sorry you have to work today Charlotte-nice to have a week off though right? :happydance:

I am reading a bunch of books I took out from the library, one on ttc and the others are all good fiction I enjoy. Also going to run with my dog and do some yoga. It's supposed to get pretty warm today so I want to enjoy the weather. I have to work on my resume too, as it's time to job hunt. There's nothing wrong with my job, but I've been there for a year and a half now and it's pretty dead end...that's not going to help me in life.

How's everyone else?

Oh, and I know I'm late, but happy anniversary Anna!:flower:

Thanks girls...after hubby got finally up I went back to bed until 2pm....Ahhhhh I needed that. I got a lush card from hubby and we gonna go to our fav restaurant when we go down to Wales next week, at least we can leave Joe than with his aunt. =]

other than sleeping, watching Joe getting quicker and quicker crawling around and sorting Joe's clothes out to sell some we didn't do much. I hate sundays. lol

Sorry it's so late - but Happy Anniversary Anna!! :D

Wow I need to come on here more, I feel so behind lol. I've been so busy! Welcome to all the new ladies, glad there are a few more of us later in in the year now, and three of us in July yay!!

Have we all had a good weekend? I've had the best weekend ever it's been great! Hope you are all ok this Sunday evening, I'm looking forward to Dancing on Ice final now!! :D xxx

Wow. It feels like I've been away for ages...

Just caught up on the new posts. Welcome to all new ladies.

Anna: Enjoy your special night out for your anniversary. I can't believe how quickly time flys, my DH and I have been married for one year in just over a week! :hugs:

I have had a crazy weekend... we just bought a block of land! :happydance: I'm not sure what measuring system you are all familiar with, but in Australia our block is just over 1/2 an acre (or 2400m2). We are so excited as it backs onto the Dandenong Ranges National Park, so it is like we live in the middle of the bush but the shops are only a 2 min drive away. And... you should see the view from the top. :cloud9:

Needless to say, the next few months are going to be hectic! Trying to obtain a planning and building permits etc. But at the end of it, we will move into our dream home!

I have a funny feeling my WTT time is really going to fly!

Sorry for the large post ... but VERY excited and wanted to share with all of you wonderful ladies! Xx.

Oh wow that sounds amazing!! I'd love to have the money to build my own home! Best of luck!

Argh were all so out of sync this end! Noah has been up since 7am and is still settling down and protesting loudly! Simon and I are dead on our feet!

Bec that's amazing news....can't wait to see pics of your finished home...maybe you can post some pics of the view for us. :flower:

Joe got up at 8am this morning...happy days.

Hubby got a phonecall from the hospital in Portsmouth, he has to get his wisdom teeth out and somebody has to drive him. I can't drive so fingers crossed the army will drive him. He won't be able to do anything for 48 hours...that's gonna be fun. and he's on the sick for 5 days. I will need a holiday after the 5 days....ohhhhh wait I will I fly with Joe home to Germany. Whoohoo! Can't wait.

April is gonna be an amazing month.
Hubby goes on leave on thursday,
we go down to Wales for a week on friday (yay we gonna have a babysitter for a whole week lol),
we r gonna go down to Chichester the following Sunday to see my best mate and godchild,
then hubby got another week leave,
he has to hospital (which doesn't really fall into the amazing category (sp?) lol)
then i will wash and pack like a mad person and then Joe and I jet off to Germany for 2 lovely weeks. CAN'T WAIT!

 Hello ladies, it seems like I have been away forever!

Happy (belated) anniversary Anna! :flower:

So, this weekend I finally got to celebrate my birthday. We decided we'd have a rather large party as next year I'm hoping I'll be in no fit state to party! We had a cave people theme :haha: and my OH surprised me by decorating the flat to look like a cave! It was pretty darn cool. The party was amazing, although my OH almost didn't make it to the club later in the night as he had a little bit tooooo much... KFC soon sorted that out! And I got to dance like a crazy person :bunny:

OH decided to tell all of our friends about our plans for next year. Mixed reviews on that one lol... although the best reply was from our 19 year old male friend: "What do you want a baby for, you've got us to look after!"

In reply to previous posts, definitely scared about having a baby, despite being excited too, as I've never done it before, and no matter how much I research it and ask questions, I know I can't really know exactly what to expect. Does that make sense? And as for the TTC / NTNP, I think i'd like to take almost a middle route. I don't want to get as crazy as Monica did on friends :haha: I want the rudies to still be a little spontaneous at least. But I think I will still pay attention to when I'm fertile and make sure that those days count... even if OH does not realise that's what I am doing! xx

im soo proud of my self im no cook at all but im learning  but i just cooked a yummy cottage pie mmmm sooo good :)

I hate cooking since I had Joe. I just can't be bothered anymore. Bad Bad Mummy. lol

I wouldn't even know what to put into a cottage pie tbh. Do you have a good cookbook hun?
