I love those Andrea and got some great cutters yesterday for flower making!!

I quickly just threw some cupcakes together for friends and family we'll be seeing tomorrow, just plain vanilla ones with easter bunny toppers, nothing special

Andrea, the girl at work has a bakery book, im not sure which one it is i'll find out (because i want to borrow it lol) and it has some really diving cakes in it, just your taste!!

afternoon ladies! just popped by to say thanks TJG for the sponge cake recipie on the other thread, its worked a treat! finally 2 whole sponges ready to assemble when the one i made this morning cools down!

Thanks also to everyone else for helping me yesterday! hopefully my icing skills will be equal to my sponge making skills this afternoon and i will make something my mum will be chuffed to bits with for her easter present! well heres hoping, eh?

Hello girlies....what a manic day i have had!!

I have made a hugeeeeeeeeeee batch of rainbow cupcakes which look fantastic...i got some fantastic coloured cupcaked cases to match too.

I have something a little special cooking in the oven right now....all will be revealed in good time.
I have some chocolate orange and some vanilla cupcakes ready and waiting to be cooked!
Had so much fun! Love all the new cake cases i have too!

Not a cake I know, but does anyone have any good pastry tips - i'm making a mississippi mud pie and I have never made real pastry (always used packet, lol) so any tips would be greatly appreciated x

ok so this is the first cake i have ever made without anyone elses help and i am pretty pleased with the way it turned out!

Holly, your easter cupcakes look fab! Simple but effective.

Andrea, I would LOVE to be able to do one of those flower pot cakes! are they on cocktail sticks and stuck into something? The flowers I mean?

Charlotte- fab cake! Your first one looks very much like my first one did! It was sooooo deep! Yummy too.

My asda order has arrived and I got a new little book by Goodfood its called 101 bakes and cakes by bbc book, was £3 and wow some of the recipes in there! Cant wait to get going on some of those! And my strawberry and rum flavourings.....I'm gonna be busy!

My new flower shaped cupcake tin arrived this morning too....cant wait to make some of them!

Can someone tell me which wilton tip it is you use to pipe leaves please? I have a load of them in my box but dunno which one is for that?

Thanks ladies! i dont tink it turned out bad considering i was missing some vital things like, a large rolling pin, something to smooth over the fondant with etc etc! hopefully with practise and when i have the money to "upgrade" my untensils lol i will et much better! i had so muc fun!

Ps. Jac you're easter cake a few pages back is bloomin' fab!! i missed that one yesterday somehow!

well the date of OHs bday is looming ever closer...i don tknow if any of you remmeber my extravagant plans for his cake but it has begun!
