Right i have all the frosting to do today. Any ideas what sort of frosting i should do on my rainbow cupcakes? i havent got any whitener so cant do white....was thinking pastel colours or bright colours mixes? any ideas?

I know...gutted but i havent got anything to dye it white...its on my tobuy list lol. Yep...think pastels will be nice...might do a few colours then it can match the cases. Thankyou hunni xx

why dont you use trex instead of butter? it'll be white. Or use creamcheese frosting? thats also white.

ok so this is the first cake i have ever made without anyone elses help and i am pretty pleased with the way it turned out!

I did rainbow ones yesterday, I'll upload in a min, I was going to do pastel but was a little heavy handed with my paste LOL, so thay have gone a bit bright!!

Well I got my new cooker yesterday so my cupckaes did not turn out like they usually do, it is going to take some getting used to, I took this picture especially for you girls to have a giggle at

Some peaked and some stayed really flat, but rose at the side which was odd to say the least
Got it sorted for my next lot though and moved the shelf down one space, It is so strange what you get used to.

It was a bit of a catalogue of distasters really, I've burnt the motor out on my dear old mixer as I was doing buttercream , so had to call my mum, got that sorted and divided for colouring.
I did my strawberry then realised I was out of my plastic bags, I bought some paper thingies but dear god could not use them, I lost the nozle then it flew out that is why 2 purple ones are spiky

I lost my temper then and left the rest to do today

I'm wondering if these paper things I bought are meant for something else

Jo, they look great. I made some the other night and they looked good. I just put a teaspoon of each colour in the case, one on top of the other and expected them to come out stripey but they didnt, still looked good tho!

I just added a spoon of each colour and tried to smooth it before I added the next colour but hey ho,

Looking at them though, without the eggs I think they would be fab for a girls birthday, I want more sparkles!!!
