Am I mad?
I think I am going to do a version of this for my dads Birthday in May

Hints and tips more than welcome, I thought of chocolate cake made in 2 loaf tins, 1/2 one of them and use choc buttercream, and shape the other to a triangle, then cover the lot in regalice. I have seen a teddybear brown one.

I haven't thought further than that though

Jo it shouldnt be too hard, you can always simplfy it ... like for the panels on the shed you could just cover the cake and then use a quilting tool to imprint lines instead of making each panel on the she

I binned my cakes cos they were made in my flower shaped tins and i used green as the top colour and they looked shite. I also used mini cases and i now think the tins are meant to be used without cases as I didnt get a proper flower shaped head iykwim...

I keep looking at craftcompany..filling my shopping bag and not doing anything with it

The craft company is addictive I could spend a fortune but have to rein myself in seeing as though it is only a hobby!!

I've just eaten one of my strawberry ones, I'm not impressed, far too sickly sweet for me!

So iv dusted over the arch with burgundy colour powder, and sprayed over the whole things with some silver lustre spray. Iv also spent the hours of tommys nap making sugar glass thats now in the doorway
The sugar glass isnt quite as purple as i wanted, it was looking great through the whole time boiling then just as it was ready to pour the colour turned
but itll do for now, i can make some more of a better colour and still use some of these shards.

Uhm...I'll send you a sprout....that will pass as a cauli..
tell me about it...I have loads of stuff now, some stuff i dont even know how to use, I just keep buying stuff

Yeah that was another thing about my rainbow cakes i used strawberry flavouring in them and it tasted rank Not a fan of that stuff.

those flower cupcakes are awesome! And that carrot cake! Yummy! Need to find me some cupcake stuff next! Can't afford to buy stuff to make cakes all the time!

I know, It is an expensive hobby isn't it? cupcakes aren't much cheaper!
I got Ant to take me to costco to buy huge bags of stuff, there is a picture quite a few pages back

As for easter, I'm having a sunday like every other Sunday, Ant at footie me diddling on here and vegging with the kids, just waiting for tea to come now
