This is quite a busy month for me, not loads of cakes but a few fiddly ones!!!

I have an 18th cupcake and sweetie themed cake, so loads to make for that!
A 50th shed cake
a 1st birthday cake
A Daisy birthday cake for MIL
and a 30th bright pink and black 2 tier!

When you use that amount of food colouring in the cake bit does it taste any different? Just one time i added a load of black to buttericing and it tasted rank!!!

well on my 6 test run cakes i played around with no colours light colours ect and foudn the amount i put it just made the cake extra light and fluffy and tasted really nice.. I had no complaints and everyone thought it was really good

Bottom layer was just pure chocolate cake

i think the each colour in the cake i used 1 whole bottle of colour lol took ages to cook all of them.. bottom layer was made via a roasting tray because i could not find anything big enough for under £30-£40 lol

Also the cake did not dry out as fast once it was cut.. cannot wait to make kyles 2nd birthday cake lol

It was just normal buttercream. butter, icing sugar and then i added about 150g of melted plain chocolate

Well, its my sisters birthday tomorrow so gonna do a lil cake, not sure what as of yet, then ive got my nephews next week!

And my friend is 30 at end of this month so theres another but that me for this month!
