ok so i know this might sound like a stupid question with an obvious answer lol but if i want to put ribbon around the edge of a 12mm drum that i have covered in icing, what mm ribbon do i need?

modelling with fondant isnt really as easy as modelling with playdough etc. it can start to droop or crack, BUT you can add tylo or gum trag to make it stiffer or more flexible!

been having a cake dilemma all day.

Need one for mylos christening/joint 1st birthday party. wanted it to be special.. was thinking 1 cake at top at stand of cupcakes matching in decor like the big one all underneath.
Went to my local cake shop.. she said that doing cupcakes is a nightmare and shes away that week i want it anyway
i have a vision.. i want it to be just so that i was thinking of ordering a normal plain round cake, decorating it myself and buying plain cupcakes (i.e from asda) and decorating them to match too.. or is that cheating? and will the cupcakes taste crap being multi produced?
or..does anyone live near me who could do me a cake? i'm just north of peterborough in the countryside.. not many cake places round here..

Tsia, do what u mentioned....buy a ready made cake and ready made cupcakes...its not cheating (well it is if ur a cake maker!) but i dont see any problem with doing that! xxx

wow some great stuff since i last looked in! i cant make any cakes today or tomorrow cus we have the house being inspected by the rental place tomorrow afternoon and i am a very messy cook haha so wanna keep it looking tidy!

though i have dads birthday cake what my asked me to do on 31st
then 3rd my cousin has asked for pokemon cupcakes for her birthday like the pikachu i made OH
then 9th is my mums so if i do my dad gotta do my mum
then 15th is jesses birthday and im gunna make jungle cupcakes to go with the cake tracey is making!! (sure they gunna look rubbish next to it though haha) xx
